The mighty Blue Jackets have made us look pretty silly more often than not.
So the challenge is there to take advantage.
Wasn't it Columbus that came to town with all AHL'ers (almost) and beat us in Winnipeg?

Kypreos is back on SN, he has a lame podcast show that replaced "Tim and Friends" called "Real Kyper & Bourne". They even recycled the set!

I actually don’t mind that show. Kyper has good opinions most of the time to me.

They also cost Claude Noel his job, when they pounded the Jets 6-3 in January 2014. He was fired the next day. One of the worst games I've ever attended, and that's saying a lot because there were plenty of stinkers that I went to the first few seasons.

Whatever... Back to reality, the 26-9-4 first place Winnipeg Jets take on the 13-19-9 Columbus Blue Jackets at Canada Life Centre tonight at 7:00pm. The Jets are coming off of an impressive 6-2 victory over the Arizona Coyotes and are 8-0-2 in their last ten games, including winners of six straight. The Blue Jackets lost 4-3 in overtime to the Minnesota Wild in their last game, and are currently 3-3-4 in their last ten games. Can Winnipeg continue their winning ways without their “Mentors” present, or will they have to settle for a package of “Mentos” instead? Will Jack Roslovic show the Jets what they are missing out when they traded him? Will Patrik Laine and Nate Schmidt share hair grooming tips? Will both @Jetfaninflorida and @King Woodballs be surprised if “sniper” Adam Lowry scores another one tonight? These questions and a few others I forget will be answered somewhere along one of the skywalks leading to the arena...

Bodog for me. Doubled my money in 18 months I've had said account. Of course my balance would be higher if the Bombers beat Montreal by 8 or more in the Grey Cup. I bet the Argos in the 2022 GC but never thought the Bombers would blow it in the final two years in a row.

FWIW I bet the Alouettes to beat the Argos in the East Final. 5.1:1! Tidy profit all gone one week later.

This game is threat to the "3 goals or less" streak. Jets always seem to struggle against Eastern Conference teams that they don't see too much. I've watched a decent amount of CBJ this season and while they are not a great team, one thing they are good at is scoring opportunistically. Their line with the three Russians is a handful and Johnny runs hot and cold and can go off anytime.

On the other hand they can't hold a lead to save their lives so even if they do score more than 3, the Jets should have a chance.

I should have said he's not on the panel (HNIC). I have seen him on the "radio" show.

I sense a barely contained pessimism in your posting.

Well we will eventually lose a game and it seems fitting that it would be against a weaker opponent who usually somehow performs better against us than the NHL at large. I'd love to see us wipe the floor with them and have a top line explosion.

The Jets have struggled to actually score in the 1st periods (even when they have been playing well) for a while. A 3 goal outburst early on would be delightful.

You need to insert you GIF link into the media slot instead of the image slot.
