Don’t know if NHL Network will post a any clips from today’s NHL NOW show but if they do I’ll put it up Boyle and Rupp go to town on the lack of structure in the Rangers defensive zone.
Pretty much on point and they name names.
A lot of names.
Any notes?

I got Brady Tkachuk once. Have to speak to the union rep about this.

Will Tkachuk's mouth guard read be enough to spark him? Game 6 against Carolina shows he can strap the team to his nethers and do what it takes. He's just been pony loaf so far against FLA.
I don't think he needs to be sparked.

He's just overpassing, has made some dumb decisions, and the team never has the puck which affects every forward.

Any notes?
They’re both saying that they don’t understand the strategy. They said that the Rangers are playing man-to-man in both 5 on 5 and the PK and they said this goes back to the Carolina series. Boyle said if he had a team they would never set up in the d zone man on man.
Then they showed clip after clip of the Rangers running around in their zone and Ranger players loosing their man. Showed clips of Rangers standing around covering no one. Ranger player running out of position and if they do finally get the puck they are so tired they can’t clear or en up icing because they are exhausted chasing Florida players.

You know what, I have come around to Trouba. You know why? It is impossible for someone to be that inept in doing the simple things, like staying on skates, or clearing the zone when there's NO ONE around him if it wasn't for the worst luck possible on the planet.

Jacob Trouba is the unluckiest hockey player I have ever seen. That is the only possible explanation. It makes ZERO sense how every single time he touches the puck something like 1 in 10 happens.

Idk, I have bad takes all the time and I'm still one of the captains on here.
Sure but you also make good ones. Trouba doesn’t make any good plays lol. One problem with hockey analysis is that people think all you have to do to identify a bad player is point out bad plays/mistakes. In reality what makes a player dog shit is rarely making any good plays and hardly even having the capacity to make them in addition to all of their mistakes. Somehow NYR consistently find ways to ice these guys who not only f*** up constantly but can’t even do anything to help the team when they’re not shitting themselves
