Time to move on I’m over it’s 2-2 - toughen up.

But
You have to wonder about the psyche of the team right now…..

You have to wonder how much they respect the head coach is he too much is he overbearing is he becoming repetitive? Is he pissing guys off? Word is KAKKO is not happy. Others not happy?
Has he called anybody out in front of the team?
Guys tuning him out ? I haven’t seen any evidence of quitting so that is good.

This is where a head coach in hockey makes or breaks a hockey team… can he find a way to break the forecheck - you have to be careful of over coaching as well.

It’s 2-2 - we’re coming home off a shit game no question- but let’s toughen the f*** up and go win the f***ing hockey game on our own ice.

Go back to the Stanley Cup in 1994. We were blown out in a few of those games by Vancouver, I recall a 6-3 loss .

Step the fck up and get the job done .

Hey that's my idea lol
I feel like it could go one of two ways, either Rempe sliding around like butter all night and getting lost or him actually being able to keep pace and generate some space for Kreiderjad 5v5. We've seen him skate well enough but he's still such a raw player. The only other guy I trust right now for 1RW duty is Wheeler but I worry he's not the proper spark-plug type player to wake the best friends up.

I think we've kept you in suspense long enough. They're characters in the movie Bloodsport -- which is @Leonardo87 's most all-time favorite movie of all time -- and Frank Dux (based on a real guy) is the good guy and Chong Li the evil bad-ass and heavy favorite to win the Kumite tournament (who obviously loses in the end).
Jesus...no spoiler alert?!?!

No coaching changes are happening this off season. Bet the house on it.

Game 5 in 1994 was a 6-3 loss to the Canucks at the Garden. I was in attendance. It was a close game until the Canucks took over. The series was 3-1 at that point, so it didn't feel like a huge amount of pressure until they went back to Vancouver and lost Game 6.

I didn’t say anything about coaching changes happening. I wouldn’t foresee that either. However he has a habit of wearing his welcome out. There’s a reason why he’s been on six or seven teams and to his credit he’s been very successful in terms of getting to the postseason and the Stanley Cup so I trust him and his system just not sure, how sustainable it is over a period of time .

After the video that was posted above with Rupp and boil, breaking down our chickens without heads defense in our own zone, I am concerned.😧

According to Boyle Lav made adjustments to the D that aren't working.
Did you see that in that video or did he say that somewhere else?
So he actually believes LAV screwed this up?

lavi hasnt really done any adjustments to the defense corps. Because taking out trouba, or lindgren would be a hard, but necessary choice.

Jones should never have been taken back out of the lineup.

But trouba is captain and lindgren is a warrior. So his hands are tied a little

But miller is also playing like crap again, so maybe he at least benches him for jones.

I wonder if this is like when Ben MacAdoo sat Eli for Geno. He's conscious that if he sits the two warrior gritty tough guys and loses he'll get backlash from a lot of ignorant fans.

We seem to always be following their players around the back of the net and losing them in the corner for them to come straight to the net, like that's an east adjustment you can do in game.

I don’t understand how an objectively terrible player can be a good locker room guy. tanner glass was beloved and he was one of if not the worst players in the entire f***ing league and made us worse whenever he was out. jacob trouba is objectively a very bad player yet his voice apparently carries weight? or maybe during these playoffs he’s losing the room a bit? I don’t know. but I know everyone loved glass regardless of how much he sucked. maybe it’s an expectation thing? nobody expects a 4th liner to be very good? shrug

Good players can be inspired by bad players who make the most with what they got. Not a justification for playing bad players, but it is a thing.

Troubs is still a presence no matter how shit he might be playing on any given night, it's not so much his voice as it's the simple fact that he is one of the only guys willing to sacrifice his own body to actually step up on other players. This team just needs to stop icing Miller-Trouba, they are objectively a lost cause as they always seem to lose each other in key moments, neither of them can keep up with each others style and they almost always get caught hobbling around. You have a 24 year old D-man that likes to jump up offensively and is very floaty paired with a slower more rugged 30 year old who's primary focus is hitting & shot blocks, doesn't work at all. Miller-Schneider has cons yeah but you got two guys of a similar age with similar qualities.

I know Lavi wants to continue showing the vets respect but at a certain point when this group continually gets hemmed in their own zone and can't ever seem to breakout it's an obvious major D issue and you have to switch something up. We've gone this entire series with the same pairings, ever since Game 6 in Carolina, well now at this stage with the series at 2 a piece that truly feels like a lifetime ago, I really hope Lavi cooks some Lavioli in the next 20 hours.
