It’s essentially a modified trap with side board control and coverage. Only they blow past that and are up ice with numbers because the D doesn’t have to work deep in their zone. It’s a derivative of Sullivan but the penguins actually had players that were capable of doing it correctly.I'm sure we will turtle in the 3rd protecting the 2-2 tie, just to get a loser point with potential opportunity for the extra.
Tocchet has no answers for the Avs. I'd send the forwards deep, taking their D out of the zone. It's like we're doing the opposite, where the wingers get lower, thus allowing free reign from their D, it's pathetic.
