Loved seeing Kopitar play with an edge in the 3rd period.

As for the Blues, that must have been an absolutely humiliating loss. That team is nothing but a fluke. Mediocre at best.

i dont, know they dominated for two periods with there entire second line on IR. lets just be happy we won.

What surprised me the most is how much jump they had in the 3rd period. I guess our top guys didn't play heavy minutes last night but on the back end of a back-to-back, the boys looked fresh and didn't seem to look tired on unmotivated. You have to give props to the coaching staff for monitoring the minutes last night and tonight too. Kudos Darryl Sutter, not only did changing the goalie make a difference, but you had the ability and smarts to rightfully space the minutes out between last night and tonight's game.

As a King, Carter has 38 points in 56 games, 28 goals, 10 assists, and is an even plus/minus. He is exactly .5 goals per game.

If it were all combined into one regular season, he would be on pace for 55 points, 41 goals...

It's been a long long time since we had a potential 40 goal scorer on the team that can actually perform on a Kings roster...

The Kings are quietly becoming quite dominant. 9-1-0 in our last 10 games. The 2nd best record in the last 10 games in the league behind the Hawks.

We also have the same ROW as the Ducks.

Incredible comeback. I really didn't think it'd be possible against a team like the Blues but man, the Kings are in their head like they were against late Turco era Stars.

Didn't see Nolan out there the third period... injured? Or dog house?

Oh, and Muzzin for Calder/Norris/Hart. Doughty is lucky to be padding his stats next to him :sarcasm:

No, because that is when he'll stop. One year deals in perpetuity please. Keeps him tradeable.

I knew someone would mention about the one year deal. But in all honesty, I think Penner enjoys playing for Sutter, and he will continue with his good play.

I would offer Penner a multi year deal but I'm pretty sure I'd be in the minority.

Interesting...

I do remember Nolan getting hammered in the second period.

Question about the dying seconds of the 3rd. There was one play that should've been icing. Not sure who shot it, but a Kings player tried to score an empty-netter from our own zone but he missed wide. Can the ref just ignore the icing if the game is out-of-reach?

Note to other NHL teams out there, don't piss the Kings off. When this team turns on their physical game, they just plow all over their opponents.

you know the baddest part of that is Clifford not even looking back./ just straight rolling off to the box and not bothering so much as a glance.
