No love for Penner? The guy looks better every single game. He had a horrible start to the season but he looks so much better on a line with Richards and Carter

When he plays his game he is very effective. He was -2 for awhile there tonight but I agree that he plays better when he is on a line with two very responsible (typically) forwards.

I am going to have to watch him closer next game and try to be a bit more subjective. He has been on my poop list for awhile but he has been playing a bit better lately and tonight was a good example.

Loved seeing Kopitar play with an edge in the 3rd period.

As for the Blues, that must have been an absolutely humiliating loss. That team is nothing but a fluke. Mediocre at best.

That was about the best I've ever seen him play. No offense to Voynov's effort with his goal, but Penner's hit and subsequent pass to Richards turned the game around.

Penner's been solid. Maybe DL should consider an extension.
