As kind of an aside, I thought Ellerby quietly played an excellent game last night. Great hitting, presence, and puck movement. Looks like he's getting more comfortable and certainly is an asset with reduced minutes.

That was easy. ℠

I felt so too. Like a young Aaron Miller.

My friend said that he read some where that that a few Blues players (maybe petriangelo) was talking **** when the score was 4-2 and that chirping motivated the Kings

If true, pretty stupid of them.

They might have forgotten that the Kings swept them in last years' playoffs. Or that the Kings won earlier this season in St. Louis.

Or that the Kngs wiped the ice with them in last season's opener, 5-0. Or that the Kings are 9-1 in their last 10 against the Blues, altogether.

It seems strange that a team would be "chirpy" given those stats. But if they are so stupid as to do that in order to motivate the Kings, more power to them.

P.S. Stewart is a POS.

Yes. I saw Pietrangelo skate past our bench, slow down, and say a couple remarks. Thanks Blues! I wonder what those mouthbreathers think now.

When I got off work and in my car I tuned in too 1150 and within a min. Stewart scored to make it 4-1 and I clearly heard one of the blues players say something like " f these ussies, let's keep taking it to them"

That must be what Justin Williams was referring to, that the Kings really got worked uip over comments the Blues made.

Bad move on the blues part, you don't poke a stick into a hornet's nest
