I fully expect the Leafs to be much better tonight. Problem is, Vasilevsky could dial up a vintage performance and it might not matter.
Not worried. We have Sammy.

The Leafs may not have shown up but I'd still say they're involved in the seriesI know Lightning fans have nothing to really prove with their team last few years, but it is funny the most level headed and humble fans are Lightning fans and the loudest and most obnoxious ones are random fans not involved in the series.
Hoping tonight the refs at least let them play and there is none of this nonsense called
People say officiating is not a factor, but imagine if TB was called for a embellishment here, and TOR went on the PP. Imagine if a penalty was called on TB just before they scored a PP goal- twice. Imagine all the goals that would have never happened. Same sh*t as last year.
Imagine there's no errors, it's easy if you try. No refs to rag on and no reason to cry.People say officiating is not a factor, but imagine if TB was called for a embellishment here, and TOR went on the PP. I heard on the radio he went out for a skate at practice this morning but wasn’t looking goodEveryone but Cernak participated on ice today. Eyssimont and Cernak ruled out, Hedman and Jeannot game time decision. I'd be shocked if Hedman isn't playing.

100%If I am the Leafs and Hedman plays I'm finishing every check on him and giving some whacks when the refs aren't looking.
The Leafs do that to every player, every game.If I am the Leafs and Hedman plays I'm finishing every check on him and giving some whacks when the refs aren't looking.
7-3. Next!People say officiating is not a factor, but imagine if TB was called for a embellishment here, and TOR went on the PP. Imagine if a penalty was called on TB just before they scored a PP goal- twice. Imagine all the goals that would have never happened. Same sh*t as last year.

Just so we all know what to expect to be reading about if the Leafs embarrass themselves again tonight
We should leave the crying to the fans in the Tampa club seats when they see a young fan wearing the visitor’s jersey at the game.Imagine there's no errors, it's easy if you try. No refs to rag on and no reason to cry.

Bruh, you support a swimming team. Hide your face.Imagine there's no errors, it's easy if you try. No refs to rag on and no reason to cry.
just wondering if/when the leafs lose this series, does it have a negative affect on the trade value of Marner and Matthews because they are outplayed in the playoffs and have very high salary cap hits, I am trying to justify how any team would trade for these guys because of the results in the playoffs, pretty bad when senior citizen scorey perry is outplaying the leafs fab 4 at about 1 million per year on the salary cap, also would a team pay more to acquire point over matthews and or marner? I would because point delivers in both regular and post seasons. Not worried. We have Sammy.
The difference in quality of posts from weirdly invested Habs fans and normal hockey fans talking hockey is astronomical. Go read a draft guide or something.
I always laugh when the talking heads compare the penalties that were called. Poulin and Corrado were yapping about the same thing last night, counting penalties for each team, as if that proves the game was called fairly. Somehow they ignore all the missed calls that happen to only benefit one team. Especially ones at critical moments in the game. You know what's funny. Steve Dangle (leafs podcaster) broke down playoff games the leafs have played that were reffed by Wes McAuley. And it turns out like most NHL games the two teams total penalties taken were very similar. (Almost always within 1 penalty).
And almost all of the exceptions either favored the leafs or included penalties out of the refs discretion (puck over glass, failed challenges, or a player doing something super illegal like Bunting did.
So this whole these specific refs are biased against leafs is pretty nonsensical. It's a problem every team has where the penalties will always be close.
What pressure?Should be an interesting match to see if Toronto can rebound from the loss on Tuesday or if the pressure will get to them
