We'll see where you are when they win.

But I mean, I disappear because the mains are celebrating like the Leafs were swept after 10 minutes of game 1 nevermind just game 1 itself. You want to have a conversation or debate I am here for it, not going to waste my time getting 20 laughing face reactions to my post saying the series is far from over.
Whats wrong with cheering for funny hockey ?

Reports coming out that Furlatt's neighbor's step grandson once beat Sheldon Keefe's son in a game of Call of Duty and sent him a mean Xbox message after.

It is incredible that the league continues to allow these massive conflicts of interests in games solely because they want to screw over the Leafs.
Not that I mind but I see trolling is allowed in the playoff threads lol

Must win game for the Leafs tonight. Time for Sammy to shed that 1-7 career playoff record.

Another loss tonight and we see Woll in Tampa.

I'd be surprised if Keefe did that, but hey, desperate times I guess.

Still at a loss to explain his infatuation with Holl though.

Is Liljegren even dressing for this one or does Keefe still have him banished to the pressbox to keep his lil buddy in the lineup?

Will AM34 go in the slot once this game? Tune in!

Funniest shit is when people unironically post things like this. Yep bud Matthews was firing rockets from the blue line for 60 goals, not in the blue paint every game. At least watch the players play.

Oh and last game?
Matthews 2 points
Marner 3 points

Issue was defensive details and being undisciplined not scoring

The difference in quality of posts from weirdly invested Habs fans and normal hockey fans talking hockey is astronomical. Go read a draft guide or something.

They probably know they'll just draft another bust and aren't wasting their time.

I think the Leafs respond today. Everyone loves to overreact to game 1. (See: last year)

I know Lightning fans have nothing to really prove with their team last few years, but it is funny the most level headed and humble fans are Lightning fans and the loudest and most obnoxious ones are random fans not involved in the series.

Wrong as usual.

Jeannot is back? Thought he was likely done for the year, I guess Briesbois gets a chance to vindicate himself for the 3rd straight time.

Looking at the Tampa roster, their 1st line is super overpowered. I would take their top line over any other teams, including Edmonton.

What's interesting is that after the 1st line, the other 9 forwards are all gritty role players who know their job and cause matchup nightmares. It is really looking like a team built for the playoffs as long as the top line keeps scoring.
The Lightning learned after 2019 that they need to be a total pain in the ass to play against, and just let Point and Kucherov cook otherwise.

Even that vaunted 3rd line of Coleman, Gourde, and Goodrow never really had to chip in that much on offense. In 2021 they had 11, 7, and 6 points and we won the Cup. Granted, 2020 it was 13, 14, and 6 points.

But when Kucherov gets 66 points and Point scores 28 goals in 2 postseasons, their most important role is just to be a pain in the ass. JBBs additions the last few years have all shared that trait.

I think we've seen enough postseason hockey in the past 10 years to learn not to overreact to a single result. Plenty of times, we've dominated or been blown out and the next game has been entirely different.

Don't get me wrong, shit talking is awesome and I will definitely resume that in the series chat, but we all know this is far from over - especially with the health concerns of our top 2 D.

I fully expect the Leafs to be much better tonight. Problem is, Vasilevsky could dial up a vintage performance and it might not matter.
