It's crazy. We've played a lot of rabid fanbases in the playoffs but I don't think any of them collectively were as sleazy and low IQ as the Piles. Boston and NYR fans are literal saints and geniuses compared to some of these jokers.

Nah, the Bruins and Rangers fans are way worse. Isles fans in our stadium mostly keep to themselves.

Ehhh they are all pretty close.... game 1 they were pretty logical today they were rabidly making excuses and condoning goonery.

The only postive here is Turbo contributed next to nothing this season.... Now we are down 3 top 6 wingers though...

Turbo contributes plenty. He's been snake-bitten on the scoresheet but he still one of our better two-way guys. We at least know that Poolparty can hold his own in his own end.

Posted on main board but thought it deserves a spot here:

What's hysterical to me is that on the Islanders page game thread, when Martin cross checked and sat on Staal, they said how it was actually a smart "long term investment" in the series that the fans hope gets the Canes off their game and that this is the Islanders galaxy brain strategy. But then want to complain and pretend like they played a clean game and are ASTONISHED the refs call more penalties on them after they say being dirty is their strategy.

They beat the Bruins the only time they faced them in the playoffs as a huge underdog…..

They certainly did. But without the vitriol. LaRose provided that.

But then there were the several years immediately after where they were ragdolled by Lucic and company as payback and just rolled over.

Yeah, I know people have loved to shit on Turbo this year, but it's a big loss. But we're pretty used to next man up at this point. Even if they aren't going to play one, they really need to call up some reinforcements from the Wolves, cause we ain't got much else left.
there is nothing left. Poolparty is the only healthy scratch forward we have.

call up the depth up front: Rees, Suzuki, Ponomarev, hell even call up Gunler, Tieksola, Koivunen, or even Dzingle.

Out for the series or out for the playoffs? Another brutal loss for us. He wasn't doing much but with his talent he was one of the guys we were counting on finally stepping up at some point. Now we don't even have that opportunity. Oh well next man up, get to the next series and maybe he can come back.
series, we'll see about playoffs but for sure this round and probably at least the first couple games of the next round depending on how long the other series go.

Suzuki would be interesting as he has the skill to play in the top 6 where we desperately need some help. I didn't follow the wolves super closely but seemed like he was kinda dominating down the stretch too

It’s the playoffs and they aren’t playing anyway. Bring up Ponomarev, Suzuki, and Rees. Prove who wants to play in practice.

I think they need Rees’s edge for the games in Belmont.
