Have past injuries slowed Gabby down?
Brass is like Gabs. Very up and down. I think he can stil ldevelop into a 2 C with 50-60 points.
That wasn't the point I was making.
I actually think Nash is the better player as well. Was just pointing out that when the players were on the other teams, many a Rangers fan kept telling us that Gaborik was better.

#CBJ RW Vinny Prospal reached out to Gaborik earlier in the day.
Looks like he had to be convinced..
Oooh. Intriguing.@cotsonika 4m

Doesn't sound happy with what transpired between him and Tortorella.
I think his shoulder injury has hurt him a little this year. I expect him to recover and still be a 30 goal scorer, though, he hasn't ben relying on his shot the last while. He's a smart player, he adjusts when he needs to. That said, he's limited. Not a puck control player, not someone who will carry the puck and start the play. He is an elite finisher and gets into open spots on the ice like no other, though. H

Getting away from Torturella should give him a big boost.

Not happy about this. What is Gaborik gonna do that Nash didnt??
So if Gaborik doesn't work out...we're stuck with a bad contract for 1.15 years. I think that's a small risk to take for someone who has played at world class levels and is looking for a fresh start.
Sounds like he will fit in perfectly with Johansen.I think his shoulder injury has hurt him a little this year.
