Not true, Lassi has faced 3 teams so far:

Timrå(who are dead last in the standings), Skellefteå(#5), & Oskarshamn(#7). Oskarshamn he has played two times.
I guess his teammates simply hate him then :sarcasm: I don't even blame them, no idea what happened to the guy but now he sucks.

they really are. askarov's draft season and d+1 looked awesome and now he is in the russian second league. who knows
He is more or less in the same place he was last year. And which suits him the best at this point.

Lassinantti underwent surgery during the pre-season just like Oscar Alsenfelt in Malmö who is considered to be the best goalie in the SHL. Guess what, he has also horrible stats so far.

So young and already one of the best keepers in SHL. I hope he stays in SHL 2-3 more years. Look at Lundqvist who stayed with Frölunda until he was 23 or something.

Different time though.. back then it wasn't crazy to think that a Euro goalie could step into the NHL.

It really doesn't happen much anymore. The road to the NHL for a goalie is the AHL.

I'm willing to be of the top 30 goalies in the NHL.. they all spent time in the A first. Mrazek, Francouze, Rittich, Vladar, Vanecek did. The outlier being Vejmelka who came in from extraliga and did it (totally unheard of and maybe part of Arizona's 'plan'.lol).

Unless that has changed and someone wants to give me some examples of the lsat 5 years and euro goalies stepping into NHL directly? I just googled Hart and even he did the A.

Sounds like the Wild plan to bring him over after this season

The Rangers at the time wanted Lundqvist who was past his prime to play and Georgiev. Shestyorkin was already NHL ready though and he proved that in the AHL by being dominant and once he got the call up to the NHL later that season . He could have easily skipped over the AHL.

How about the former GM not screw around his now star goalie at either of those levels that year and instead he plays in the NHL all year because he was the best goalie the team had that year and showed it in preseason, minors, and NHL? He should've been in the NHL that whole year. It was poor management by Gorton. He bought Lundqvist out at the end of the season, and Georgiyev's career has been on the decline the last few years, as anyone who has watched him play knew it would.

Absolutely pelted with shots today in a 2-1 SOL against Malmö who's on an upswing as of late. Faced 39 shots while his teammates mustered up 20 whole shots.
