I'll never understand why Edmonton didn't take this guy.
you think im basing this on one game...I watched him and Askarov at the U17s in and been a fan since...I hope we're not going to hear stuff like this anytime either prospect does something bad/good. As of right now Cossa has had a stellar start in juniors, Wallstedt has been just okay in SHL (with a really good game yesterday). So difficult to compare, different leagues, different continents.
SVS% for the whole SHL has so far been 89.7%.Very hard to compare across 2 different leagues like that but I'm not sure .919 is more impressive than a .953 regardless of league strength. I wouldnt be surprised if save percentage on average is higher in the SHL than in the WHL to be honest. These guys are going to get compared at every step of the way though so we might as well get used to it for at least like 5 years, if not more lol
No but it's still very early in their careers. Goalies are hard to predict. Impossible to say where these two will be in 2-3 years.you think im basing this on one game...I watched him and Askarov at the U17s in and been a fan since...
Maybe both Cossa and Wallstedt will be really good?
That's the hope. But us Wings fans remember the Tom McCollum vs Markstrom debate.
SVS% for the whole SHL has so far been 89.7%.
SSABSo SAAB has gotten out of cars, and into goalie pads?
Hard to compare like that. The bad teams might be realy bad and the good realy good. We only know when both goalies play on equally good defensive teams in NHL. So never...the WHL is actually 89.7% too
weird how they're tied like that
^^^Is that good or bad?
Because some people still think he's the best goalie in the league so he gets all the tough starts. Not sure why his backup Lassinantti is facing so much tougher workload though.
I said it after the draft on the Minni board, you and Detroit f***ing killed that draft.Lambos aaaaaand Wallstedt….
they really are. askarov's draft season and d+1 looked awesome and now he is in the russian second league. who knowsNo but it's still very early in their careers. Goalies are hard to predict. Impossible to say where these two will be in 2-3 years.
Not true, Lassi has faced 3 teams so far:Because some people still think he's the best goalie in the league so he gets all the tough starts.
