They’re going to trade their only goalie plan to a division rival because?
im sure he'll sign with Buffalo but we see college players refusing to sign with the team that drafted them pretty often so he could do the same but i doubt it Sabres have a bright future and need a #1 goalie

Buffalo's looking like a very attractive organization to play in. Gotta think, with *Patrick Kane returning home in the summer, all the more so.

*wink

Kane is the exact opposite of what they need. They can score goals…but need defensive commitment up front. Plus…they have a ton of forward prospects that will start breaking into the league within two years. Multiple first round forwards that need spots.
Not to derail the thread, but I wonder what kind of player Kaine has become in his later years. He probably has enough offense to replace Olofsson. Does Kane have the intangibles that a Stanley Cup winner could bring to Buffalo?

Anyway, still waiting on Levi to make a move here.

Agree, but I do think the effect a guy like him could have on that locker room with his existence alone could be monumental for those guys. maybe they shed olofsson and mitts then go after kane then look to sign more of a Noel Acciari type for the bottom 6

Run something like
Skinner-Tage-Tuch
Quinn-Cozens-Kane
Peterka-Krebs- UFA/savoie
Girgs-Jost- Okposo

Is Okposo really coming back?

party boy, no backcheck Kane and his blind eye to how young players are treated isn’t exactly the locker room leader I had in mind for them.

Well then you’re not getting our mini Carey Price.
well first of all you better hope he signs cuz until then u have no idea what he plans are and hes far from a mini Carey  we have Primeau who like Levi did really well in the NCAA winning best goalie etc... and has yet to crack the NHL so how bout you let Devon play a few NHL gms before comparing him to one of the best goalies of the past decade

and im a huge Levi fan kid lives 5min away from me

It was a joke based on what a few of your fans were saying above. You Hab fans are so tender, he’s not signing with you no matter how hard you try it will it into existence.

Love Levi - I think he is an absolute stud in the making. I fully expect he signs with Buffalo, and is making AHL waves next season.
