He has nothing more to prove in college, my bet is that he will turn pro at the end of the season, maybe even get some NHL games to close out the Sabres season.
Yeah he has to have his sights on some NHL time. He can burn a year of his ELC if he before the end of the year, right?
The Sabres should get a dedicated goaltending coach for Levi.
Is Roland Melanson not employed anymore?

I guess it's possible, but I highly doubt it. To burn a year, he'd actually have to play NHL games, and the Sabres have been very deliberate about bringing prospects along slowly since Adams took over.

I don't think that's true actually, since Levi is 20 years or older in the calendar year in which he signs his NHL deal, it cannot slide.

So either they sign him to a deal that starts in 22-23 and he could play on the AHL team on an ATO, or they sign him to a deal that starts in 21-22, does not slide, and burns a year upon signing. This was the case with Cale Makar joining the Avs for the playoffs—it burned a year no matter if he played or not.

As I said in his thread on the Sabres board…to truly appreciate what this save was you had to watch everything leading up to it. He stopped some spectacular stuff with calm positional goaltending for ten minutes and the first shootout attempt. Then he fell down and pulled this ridiculousness. Commentary was talking all about how he’s making the difficult look easy and you don’t see him pulling out Hasek like saves because he’s so well positioned and reads plays so well. And then this immediately happened.

Is he going to win the Mike Richter award again? Two Beanpot mvps in a row? That Harvard team had some firepower, too. I’m not usually a fan of undersized goalies. But Levi does it all everywhere he goes.

Last year, BU's Dylan Peterson was MVP and Levi's teammate and now ASU starter TJ Septimphelter was the Eberly winner as best goalie since Levi was in China for the Olympics.

Fifth shutout of the season on a 42-save effort against Vermont tonight. Since the meltdown against Harvard at the start of January, he's gone on a tear.
I didn’t see that game but I did laugh when the first tweet I saw about it was something like “should have been worse. Levi held them to 8”

He must have loved beating them last week a little extra
