I think Hartford still needs another 4A-type player or two, both upfront and on the back end. Problem is I don't know how much space they'll have.
Was just thinking this myself. I think they'll be better...but I don't think they'll be a great team. I mean if lias chytil and pionk have all graduated is it a huge infusion if howden hajek ronning and day join in? Without more signings they'll probably be worse.

10-12 organizations. Arizona and Chicago are the two that gave up on him.

10-12 authorities > 2 authorities.

Still plenty of time for Columbus to give up on him too. I hope not, but a him signing for minimal salary with interest from multiple doesn’t prove AZ and CHI wrong. He still has to live up to the potential he has, which he has yet to do consistently.

Hope he figures it out there. If the whispers of work ethic issues are true, that isn’t going to gel with Tortorella. He’s young enough that maybe Torts will have a positive influence on him. Remains to be seen.

I would have had no problem with him signing here, but not annoyed he didn’t.

We honestly didnt even have a spot for him.

Buchnevich Zucc Fast with ronning meskanen Lettieri and lindqvist fighting for spots on the right side. No need for a headcase

By the way I’ve spent the last week screaming for Karlsson and Panarin and wanting to trade away skjei and smith and Hayes to try and do it.

Where are all the guys that swear I’m a bigot and biased against Europeans? They on vacation?

I'm not annoyed he didnt sign here. Apparently we were in on him, which is good.

I'm annoyed at those who used the fact that Chicago did not sign him as the main argument against bringing him in. There was no other substance against him other than repeatedly saying he is a headcase and that Chicago didnt want him.

So now that 10-12 teams (including NYR) did want him, does that make the opinion that we should bring him back legitimate and not just some nostalgic fantasy? The appeal to GMs and coaches as the leading authorities who grant legitimacy to opinions is sickening.

Also Meskanen and Lindqvist.

No problem taking Spezza on, but I'm not taking anything else.

Unfortunately Spezza may be able to veto a deal.
