Someone notable posted on Twitter that he has a minimum price tag to play in the NHL. That can be shifted of course but it is mostly a mid term 6M type of team so we can't afford that.

Scooping Kruger and Lindberg in some type of a deal would be nice. Insulation for the team to not have to get a center in free agency. Kruger and Lindberg are ideally 4Cs, but you could play whoever is performing on the 3rd line and shuffle them back and forth.

Watching him reminds me of that God damn 2007 Buffalo Sabres team. That was the fastest team I have ever seen.

The dominoes are moving though. Marleau signs megadeal, Thronton signs, Radulov signs. Next up is Kovalchuk and then there will be no fire power left anywhere and that's when Sakic is planning on making his move to try and rob a team.
