If you want to move a wing for a C the guy should be Zuccarello.

I don't think Nash gets you enough and you probably have to add to Miller (Plus the 6 year age gap is a thing.)

Nash is a bad fit. You'll only get a center on a bargain from a team in a cap crunch.

Except that we can just sign someone in FA who is just as good, if not better, for a similar or cheaper contract. Or trade for someone else. Not a 3.5M 4th line center.

Some names being Desharnais, Winnik, Grigorenko, Jokinen, Nestrasil

Which of those players can PK. I would rather not sign a guy that can't contribute on special teams and if he busts is a waste of a contract.

Depends. Reclamation projects: Vanek, chiason, grigorenko, yakupov, jokinen, gionta, desharnais. We aren't solving our top 6 center hole but our 4th line can be supplemented with some value pick ups.
