They also just signed Karlsson’s buddy yesterday
If this isn’t signaling than I’m not sure what is

Ottawa's pick belongs to Colorado.3 way:
To Tampa: EK
To Rangers: Ryan , Sens 1st unprotected
To Sens: A lot from Tampa.
If we’re taking on that massive, stinking pile of dog s*** that is Bobby Ryan’s contract, these ‘pieces’ better be monumental.
Sure, Vegas, we’ll do it, but for Cody Glass +
Period.
I'd want a lot more than just Cody Glass. We're talking 4 years at $7.25 mil per. That's $29 mil worth of cap space. How about Glass, Tuch and Colin Miller.
Cody Glass is a pretty high end prospect...I’d say he’s on Chytil/Kravstov’s level, probably above. I’d take Ryan on for a potential 1C all dah, any day.I'd want a lot more than just Cody Glass. And we have Carp coming in hot torpedoing everything
That said I don’t believe it
Yeah he never broke anything before the Athletic and now all the sudden he has these great sources?I haven't believed anything Carp has said for years reguarding rumors and ranger moves.
But they have Brady Tkachuk so that makes up for it right?Did the Sens not get lambasted for keeping their pick in the draft last week?
If they trade Karlsson they may have handed Colorado Jack Hughes
He said we wouldn't be interested in take Ryan's contract. I think he is full of shit, we should be licking our lips to get some assets for basically money.I haven't believed anything Carp has said for years reguarding rumors and ranger moves.
I do not in any way mean this rudely, but do you have proper knowledge on what it takes to make good ice great? You don't just turn the thermostat down. There is a lot that goes into it and that also includes the schedule of the building/other events, air quality (temp/humidity/dew point), refrigerant effeciency, purity of water used for the ice, and many other factors. Msg and it's schedule is not conducive for great ice and the plant is so far from the sheet in that building that there are all sort of thermal losses and delays. Msg is an entertainment building that houses a hockey team, not a hockey arena that hosts some other events. That's an important distinction. One of Karlsson's demands (and the Rangers should do it anyhow) to sign an extension should be the demand of better condition of the ice in the Garden whatever it takes.
