If they didn't have money for Hendricks, they have no money period

Hendricks to Nashville - 4 years, $1.85 million per season.
I haven't read back the thread but I don't understand the Moore love. Great player but a year removed from hockey, do we want another BR?

That's how the market works. UFAs have way more leverage, therefore get paid more relative to similar players who are RFAs. Tavares would make $9m as a UFA.
A lot of intangibles with Dominic, and wouldn't cost more than 1 mil per
no prob with Moore, but how can we afford Iginla, and if we could I'd rather Grabovski.
Well if we're just looking at the stats--that's great.
Considering he was going to help our pwp and that hasn't worked out in the last two years--or that he's getting slower and worse defensively and that he made numerous blind bailout before I get hit passes that's enough reason for me anyway that he should be hitting the road. it's not just his stats--his overall game in a lot of areas needs to get a lot better.
So he deserves to be paid 250K less than Tavares? I don't think so.
Seriously? We couldn't afford a player at 1.85m?
Are we really that tight to the cap.
I suppose cost is big + but intangibles require execution. Slightly off as a whole and the intangibles are gone.
https://twitter.com/Real_ESPNLeBrunTold that Buffalo and St. Louis spoke about Ryan Miller but price too high. Nothing happening on that front at this point
Such a mistake not signing Weiss!!! God damn it that was the one signing I've been preaching. Detroit gets him on a great deal too. I expected it to be low cost as well. What a terrible shame.
sometimes the best move is no move, be patient
Eerily quiet...Are there any reports of NYR talking to players (signed or available)?
Seems like we're standing pat because of assumption of lack of cap.
