I'm all for Moore.. I think Boyle-Moore-Dorsett is actually a competent 4th line.
That's a very good energy line. My main issue is the lack of toughness outside of Dorsett in that case.

Do you really want to pay $4.5M to a 4th line? I rather have hungry kids play on minimum deals.I'm all for Moore.. I think Boyle-Moore-Dorsett is actually a competent 4th line.
TSN Panel still talking about Yakupov being available for a d-man.
Does anyone have an idea how much it would cost to lock step and mcd each up for 8 yrs. I'd prefer to pay current rate vice when the cap goes up.
According to most Ranger fans toughness is overrated
So the point of the lockout was what exactly?
I'd absolutely do anyone but Mcdonagh, even Girardi. It would be a crazy return though, I doubt we would give up whats needed.

Yep, until they get pushed around, then it's time to scramble for anyone else to play.
Although, if they think one of Haley/Mashinter can seriously take a role this year, then I am good with it.

I think I'd do Yakupov for Girardi, mainly because I can see McIllrath effectively stepping into Girardi's role sooner rather than later.
Yakupov is an incredible talent.

To temporarily scale back player salaries so that the owners could start raising them again to ridiculous amounts in order to lead to another lockout.

People have made that mistake before. The Rangers are plenty game.
They just won't be in the best position to respond or deter aggression. They know it. I'm thinking they will address it soon.
I believe a line of Brashear-Haley-Hollweg would be very tough.
No fighting is overrated. Toughness and the ability to play the game aren't that easy to find.
