Pretty bad, there’s not really a market for C right now. I’d hold onto him, he’s a valuable player and will bring more to this team than anything we’ll realistically fetch. ROR got an underwhelming return (though that’s partly because of the signing bonus) unless we get something that’s very clearly an overpayment, I’d rather stand pat. We should focus on moving Zucc instead

I'd take the Lucic contract for a premium return I wouldn't even mind him at least we'd have someone on our team that Montreal might hate more the Kreider and we could shelter the kids in a middle six role. None of these talented kids should be on a 4th line

Yeah that Lucic rumor, Oilers GM said he's close on a major deal. Over on their board they think it's with the Rangers, retain some salary and send Zucc the other way. Ugh...I don't like that

imo if we were trying to lose and not even compete we would have dealt zuke, names, spooner, vesey and hayes at the draft for picks and prospects and then replaced them with garbage ufas.

still lots of summer left but the only guy being mentioned in trade rumors is hayes and that deal would likely be for a RHD which is our biggest need for the current team...

keeping the first 4 and trading hayes for a RHD makes us way better than anyone we could have signed today. And if we can turn hayes into a top 4 RHD, i think we'll be alot better than people think
