Doubt he's capable of that, if we were building a bottom 6 line with some offense you may roll the dice
humm but yet they went further in the play offsI was actually joking today when I said the Oilers name should be changed to Sloppy Seconds, with reference to Hyman and Campbell. Then I saw they added McKegg. Then I remembered Barrie and Ceci. I guess I stand by my whimsical observation! Lol.
I believe he wanted to be on the east coastToronto is literally like 100 miles closer to his home than Columbus. He didn’t go home.
This makes no sense.
I think it was being in the east kind of like that defensemen from the islanders that did that in the pastIt's also the Winnipeg of American hockey cities
Calgary now but they need to know what Tkachuk is thinking. If they cant extend him Treliving needs to find some palatable destinations for him and deal. This may be a different Flames team pretty quick.New Jersey, Islanders, Anaheim and Seattle are the only 4 teams with Cap-space i think that can sign Nazem Kadri. I dont think either of those places are attractive to Kadri. I see him going back to Colorado for lower money.
If it was the Rangers..I think Kadri would have seriously considered it
I was wondering about the Ducks and their 35M of cap space... I guess this is ok?
No, Columbus has more people but could be smaller.Maybe I read this wrong but isn't Calgary bigger than Columbus population wise?
Luke schenn at 750kHere are our needs.
1 more 4th liner
A middle 6 player maybe 2 if they move Kerfoot. If it's better than Kerfoot, than really one.
Bottom 6 forward(this could replace the 4th liner need if the player is better)
A 7th d man.
Is he a FA? Didn't know that. Pretty much another Lyb and at league min. I'll take him. Leafs had interest in him at the deadline tooLuke schenn at 750k
But he also knew that none of his real main rivals can run it back....they all took significant hits and are taking on water.Personally I set the bar low after Dubas eluded to running it back with the core.. I didn’t see a big forward addition coming and just retooled depth. His priorities being goaltending.
End of an era... until during next season when for some reason we trade for him at the deadline.

Ottawa, Buffalo and Detroit have all taken major steps forward so far this off season.Curious to see if Florida falls apart. Sounds like they've soured on Weegar and have lost some personnel in Marchment and Giroux already.
Buffalo, Ottawa and Detroit all look motivated to take Boston's spot for 4th place/wild card as well, but the unusual thing is we lost a lot of games to the basement dwellers so it's not like that's where our point totals will be shaved off.
Tampa's re-signings are quite pricy. I don't mind seeing them older and entering cap hell.

The gap between the haves and have nots has narrowed and the top teams are likely going to have more points shaved off this year.
