Hey Terry, Do Us A Favor and SELL

Here you go Terry, you’re right back at the point where you started, a full blown rebuild required to react to a roster that is soft and underperforming and won’t back their teammates up when the chips fall. I’m sure next game they will do something to “makeup” for their lack of actions and will trick/fool others that they really have it, but they showed you who they really are.

YOUR GM built this team and this is the product result. In the face of organizational respectability, you have very few shreds of opportunity left to show any life, any pulse, or any sense of respect as a man, or businessman (since that’s the only language you seem to care about). Things need to change.
When someone shows you who they really are, believe them.

I appreciate that Pegula bought the Sabres and kept them in Buffalo. Same goes for the Bills. If we ever lose a pro sports team, they are never coming back.

With that said, Terry buddy, the dream is dead. Hockey heaven isn’t happening. Do the right thing and find a buyer that will keep the team in Buffalo. Or hand over full control to your kids and go back to being a fan. This level of failure can’t be fun to endure as an owner.

With locals losing interest how important are the canadian hockey fans for Pegula?
Is it a minor part of gate revenue?

Leaf, Habs and Sens fans pack it probably 8 games a year

Growing contingents of Edmonton and Vancouver fans coming down from Southern Ontario as well. Then there are the number of metro fans coming up - it's not just UB and Buff State students at Islander/Ranger/Devil games. There are people coming up for the cheap available seats.

I wonder how much of what is going on with Canada and the US, will hurt the Sabres financials

Pen fans show up in force as well

Hadn't really thought about that, but the travel industry is projecting major shortfalls with Canadians cancelling reservations. Combine that with a relatively weak Canadian dollar (not quite to early 2000s levels, but pretty close), and you have some problems. Toronto and Habs fans will travel no matter what, but the situation won't help the rest of the schedule.

Judging by the fire this has stoked, i wouldn’t be surprised if it keeps some from coming down who are Hab/Sen/Leaf fans.
