Cap friendly has them at 11 mil left with a full roster they do have to give a raise to Larkin in one seider and Raymond in two

New Jersey, Islanders, Anaheim and Seattle are the only 4 teams with Cap-space i think that can sign Nazem Kadri. I dont think either of those places are attractive to Kadri. I see him going back to Colorado for lower money.

If it was the Rangers..I think Kadri would have seriously considered it

Why would he care though, he won a Cup, now it's time to get paid, you could always get traded later to a contender. Kane and Toews new exactly what they were doing when they signed their current contracts; Naz does too.

I was actually joking today when I said the Oilers name should be changed to Sloppy Seconds, with reference to Hyman and Campbell. Then I saw they added McKegg. Then I remembered Barrie and Ceci. I guess I stand by my whimsical observation! Lol.

Why would you think Liljegren isn't ready for 2nd pair duties when he seemed to be doing well last season and getting better as he played more games? Him and Gio looked pretty good together so why not keep them together? Let Muzz and Sandin be the 3rd pair.

Problem is, at this current time, unless you unload Kerfoot's contract to another team, you're not going to get any of those big body power forwards.

The 2 guys that come to mind are Palat and Niederreiter. Other than that, your options are very limited on the UFA market.

We need a couple of top 9 players to even get us to the deadline right now imo.
