By far the least talked about thing around here considering the extra near 10 million in cap we would have.

God, I hate the cap system with a passion. All of the deals signed took the projected cap into account and theres no "covid recapture".

Without a legit 2LW added and/or Holl and Kerfoot replaced by high impact drivers, this team will compete with the Sens for 4th PO spot. That team is stacked up front, likely has better goaltending than Leafs, and all they need is a legit top 4 D added, which they can do with the ton of cap space and futurist assets they have to throw at one.

Maybe he wanted to return to the US, maybe he didn't like Sutter... Hard to say.

They signed Kane for 4 which is pretty solid term. He has a game that will age well imo
Kulak for 4 at 2.75 a bunch of two ways
