Let's just say if Greiss is signed to our team, I'll no longer be a Leaf fan. There's a reason why Germany essentially banned him from their international team.

He is a decent secondary scorer but he isn't very fast, not great defensively, only had 11 hits all year. He really doesn't offer much of anything that the Leafs need. I remember watching him in the playoffs for Erie back in junior and when the speed and intensity ramped up, he was invisible. Do not want him near this team.

We need more Bunting types that have a motor, plays with a bit of bite and can chip in some points here and there.

I was never impressed with Strome in any capacity. Not in juniors, not in WJC, not in NHL

The Leafs could bring back Daniel Winnik, Chris Didomenico and Mark Arcobello too. They were right up there in scoring with Malgin in the Swiss League.

The last thing we need are players who disappear for whatever reason. Perhaps playing against 3rd liners might help him succeed. At the right price, maybe he is worth a flyer but Ritchie risky.

They need progress from their youngsters but they’ve had a great offseason so far in bringing in Debrincat and possibly now Giroux. Legit talent to help their young core.

With Boston declining, it seems that Ottawa might be a he next team to rise up.

Evidently they are targeting Weagar as well. They are going to be a pretty good team if they sign all these players

No, probably because we're dumpster-diving for depth + backup and probably have a handful of targets of which we'll only get a few that we don't get priced out of.

Teams that have cap-space and roster spots are clearly honing in on the big-ticket guys, which is why you see the rumor mill attaching them to players.
