Absolutely. Actually, I am thinking 4 years at that AAV. Because his performance doesn't rate the 3 year deal at $2.6 that Boqvist got.
I think it's pretty clear that he's not done yet so it's still to early to judge IMOI don't know should i share this in here.
But here's one hardly negative article of Dubas actions in UFA market.
Do you guys agree with this or is this total bullshit without any fact based truth?

Is Subban still out there? I say trade Sandin for a nice forward prospect and Sign Subban 1-2 million
if they move Sandin move him for a similar aged forward with upside someone who can slot on line 2
Pretty bad.
Boosh over Holl?
Kerfoot not being traded (even though he still could)?
Losing Mikheyev on the contract he got?
All shite
Nucks is asking for a 1st, plus A prospect and a good young player with potential with terms-preference goes to RHD.Teams are apparently not willing to meet Vancouver’s demands
This kid plays big and won’t mind standing in front of the net.Hoglander. I think he's been misused in Vancouver and could use a change of scenery. I do think he could do a good job at 2LW. Still on his ELC as well so he's cheap.
Add Phil to the list too.Honestly, I'd sign him just for the entertainment value alone.
Here is what he did. It's up to people to decide.I don't know should i share this in here.

With what cap they have to work with its starting to look better. I'll judge more once the dust settles. Still a few moves coming forsure. Here is what he did. It's up to people to decide.
Incoming:
Matt Murray (25% retention)
3rd round pick
7th round pick
Calle Jarnkrok
Nick Aube-Kubel
Adam Gaudette
Victor Mete
Jordie Benn
Ilya Samsonov
Denis Malgin
Outgoing:
$12.6 million in cap space
Yeah this guy is an idiot. Murray is not the optimal solution in goal but this writer must be stuck in a time loop from before December to think Campbell is an answer in net. He's also pissed the team lost Lyubushkin despite him being a train wreck everywhere that's not in front of his own crease. There are no stats out there that paint Lyubushkin as anything more than a sub-par #7. the only loss that might sting a bit is Mikheyev but assuming Robertson and Knies are going to be on the roster in time for the playoffs there's nothing really lost here. Mikheyev had one stretch of decent production in his last 2 seasons and couldn't score a goal in a playoff game when a goalie is in net if his life depended on it.I don't know should i share this in here.

Kerfoot at 3.5 million is still an asset. It's just that we could make better use of that cap space based on our current roster construction. Now that we have Jarnkrok, which unsuspecting sucker can we pawn Kerfoot off on.
Not a huge fan of where they are today but pissing about what might happen to their goaltending makes absolutely no sense in July. Game 1 of the season is a long ways away so I think the biggest value add is yet to happen. I think they have some system forwards that they really need to take a look at so not sure anything more is happening there before well into camp at the earliest. Holl has apparently actually been on the block and not just on this forum so my prediction for the "splash" is at RD. Adios Sandin and hello someone safer at 2nd pair RD than Lilly or Holl. This is less about RS himself than the fact they have the 3 LD vets so he has been outbound in my mind ever since Gio resigned.I think it's pretty clear that he's not done yet so it's still to early to judge IMO
Honestly if Sandin is going to be a pain in the ass I wouldn't mind trading him for a young cost controlled forward
No J T Miller though, he doesn't have enough term on his deal
Fair enough on point 2#.....that's true.Agreed but
1.) closer to 2.6 than 1.4 is like 2.1. If he signed for 2.2 x 3 I think that’s reasonable? In fact when you consider 1.4 x 2 what would that be? 2 x 3?
2.) I don’t think that 4 years is a good idea. Straight to ufa
Doesn't a Sandin for Barrett Hayton trade practically write itself now?Honestly if Sandin is going to be a pain in the ass I wouldn't mind trading him for a young cost controlled forward
