RD market is getting thin. Capfriendly says Mete can play RD.

While he is small, he is still solid in his own end so I would take him as a top 4 RD for the Marlies and as a guy who can maybe be a call up for the Leafs if needed. Biega was able to make it work on the Marlies, but Mete obviously has a lot more upside.
 
Nino Niederreiter finished top 35 in expected goals per 60 amongst forwards with at least 110 minutes played.

He and Mikheyev both finished with the same number.

How much is this player going to get paid?

I mean I get people thinking the team is soft and that is true sometimes, but we went with Simmonds and Clifford and it blew up in our face. Kubel is a nice start to having a good 4th line you can actually play. The guy had over 150 hits so that helps with physicality. Another one like him and you're good. Get a RHD with edge which Dubas wants and thats fine.


This account never makes any claim so this is new for him. I'm inclined to believe it but we'll see.

Whats wrong with it if he's going to the Marlies and only comes up in case of injuries. He won't be our best depth add

The Pens were an average defensive team in both the regular season and playoffs during those championships and Toronto is the one that more resembles Tampa defensively.

Toronto just needs to hit on a consistant realiable starter is all.

Pittsburgh had three lines that could score.
We have one of the best lines in the league
A second line that doesn’t mesh and disappears for too many games
A third line of meh
A fourth line that is useless

I don’t like it. It’s a message board. I’m posting an opinion.

He provides little to no upside. He’s 5’9.
He’s our 9d - just play the kids.

If Mete is signed I doubt he is a Marlies add. He, along with Gaudette who many also believe are Marlies bound have never cleared waivers in their careers before. I think Mete would be 7D and Gaudette is 4C/13F.

Whose we. Nobody that said Leafs too soft wanted Simmonds as our grit leader. "we" is dubas

You can play the kids when they are ready. Looking at the Marlies, none are ready so it's fine. Marlies need D too
