Rick DiPietro has generating some attention out there. I'd imagine he'll get a 1-year deal somewhere.

But jeez, Eriksson-Bergeron-Marchand is right up there for best lines in the league.

only if they have chemistry...everyone thought jagr would find great chemistry with Drury or Gomez and that did not work out. They probably will, but always have to be cautious.

Gomez and Jagr were a bad idea IMO. Both wanted the puck and it was just brutal seeing it on display out there.

I really think Eriksson is the best defensive winger in the league and Bergeron is the best defensive center in the league. Marchand is also an elite defensive, 2-way player. On paper, that line looks so deadly.

Believe Peverley may be in that Dallas/Boston deal as well.

top 6 with Lucic, Krejci, Marchand, Bergeron, Eriksson, and Peverley is just not fair.

And sadly, they will probably sign someone tomorrow that pushes Peverley down to the 3rd line with Soderberg and Kelly. The Bruins depth is just unreal.

Edit: NVM. Peverley apparently in the deal as well

Yeah, and it may work out fine, but how many offseasons have us NYR fans said "ON PAPER" this team looks incredible and it was a pretty bad season.

Bruins also have top prospect Ryan Spooner that may have made Peverely/Seguin a more expendable piece to fill in a need. He could make the team next year as the 3C.

Also allows financial flexibility for Chiarelli to search FA market for Alfie or some other RWer

Loui Eriksson has to waive his no trade to make this trade official from Dallas. He is doing that now. #NHL

#Stars source says "selling the farm" for Tyler Seguin . #Bruins

Darren Dreger ‏@DarrenDreger

Trade call between Boston and Dallas is about to begin, or is just underway...according to source.
