Rangers need more toughness and more balls. Too many times over the season the team looked dead and lifeless, they need guys with edge. Not sure how popular this is, but some other poster suggested a Carcillo-Lapierre-Dorsett line, I'd be all for that

The only reason I posted that line is because someone said Carcillo may be available. But I am all for that line. It would be the most hated in the league.

No decision should be made tonight by Daniel Brière. List of teams is now down to 6 teams. #RDS

Except in 2010 and 2012. In thos years, he signed Frolov (one year gamble), and three fourth liners. There's no one in UFA worth going after.

Doubt any of our defenseman are moved. Maybe Boyle. That's about it.

Well 2012 he didnt have to dip into UFA really ,he traded for Nash who was supposed to put us over the top until Richards and Gaborik fell off a cliff.

You probably want Fast playing the 4th line LW. So we can have some speed and skill on the 4th line. Give me a break.

No, I want someone who doesn't suck on the fourth line. Carcillo sucks.

I'm hoping for Lindberg to make the team in camp and push Boyle to the LW on the fourth line.

So have a soft swede as your 4th line center. That will work out well. Hes probably tougher than Boyle though. Biggest waste of 6'7 240.

If you actually knew what you were talking about, you'd know that Lindberg isn't soft. Apparently nationality determines that in your world.

So when he gets pushed around this year will he push back? Will he stick up for himself? That's all I'm worried about. How do you know if he is soft or not. He was playing in the Swedish Elite League... Going to be a lot different over here.

I agree with this. A team like the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup in part because they're not dumb enough to hand a bottom-six roster spot to some soft Swedish center. Everyone knows that doesn't work out.

Oh, what's that? Marcus Kruger is Swedish? And plays center? And is on the Blackhawks?

Hmm....

I don't want a whole team of toughness. I want a 4th line with tough players on it. Not goons, guys who can still play but are tough.

Toughness will be addressed wen McIlrath makes the team. Would like to add a tough winger with size as well. Not even a top-6er, one who can add maybe 10 goals and intimidate. Clowe could have been that guy, but, of course, he had to get two concussions.

Hagelin-Richards-Nash
Kreider-Stepan-MZA
Miller-Brassard-Callahan
Haley-Boyle-Dorsett

If they go with a third line of Hagelin-Richards-Fast

There is no reason they can't go with a 4th line of Boyle-Lindberg-Dorsett

Have 2 fantasic draw guys. I originally was thinking of an all Swede line of Hagelin-Lindberg-Fast but when they kept Richards, I figured Lindberg will center the 4th line.
