I said this before the penguins should of fired Sullivan after the playoff loss against Montreal in 2020.

That wasn’t going to happen when the series was after 5 months off and everyone coming in cold. Was a unique situation. And then Jarry blew it in 2021 with his horrendous goaltending in the isles series where the Pens dominated play and a year the Pens won the division.

In all honesty, losing hard this season is the best case scenario.
It would be amazing to somehow land a center like Hagens or even Misa. Then you can start to move up the kids next season to have a couple years with Sid.
