The exact opposite of the type of player we need.Any interest in trading for Trevor Zegras?

Coleman is having a career year, I don't see us paying the premium CGY would be asking for right nowmy initial thought was Blake Coleman as a veteran target
Also If we have a good idea Chych will resign I would explore trading Chabot, that would be the shock to the core piece I would move.
Only if you played the games, if you simmed they still lose lolI don't think anyone reasonable believe this...
Dorion was a disaster, it is silly to think a walking disaster's output is any good.
The rebuild was very poorly carried out. Good players, bad team. Dorion assembled a team that would be good in Chel.
Haha that makes it worse and honestly funnierOnly if you played the games, if you simmed they still lose lol
I would kill to get Coleman on this team. The price tag would be hefty right now though.my initial thought was Blake Coleman as a veteran target

4.9M is a big ticket.I would kill to get Coleman on this team. The price tag would be hefty right now though.
I'll move Chabot before Chychrun.
I'd love to add the 35-40 pts version of Coleman, not interested in paying the 60pts versions price tag though...He's a career 35-40P/82GP guy that is having a hot year with a higher than average shooting percentage.
Sens would be smart to steer clear. Enough buying high on players.
Dorion was certainly the architect of this year's cap problemDorion was the architect of all/vast majority of the problems the team is facing, DJ succumbed to those issues of the guys we have on the team.
I'll move Chabot before Chychrun.
Leverage goes both ways. With Chychrun the issue is whether he wants to be here. If he does, the leverage goes both ways. If he wants to move on, it doesn't really matter what we're prepared to pay.Coleman is having a career year, I don't see us paying the premium CGY would be asking for right now
Wrt trading Chabot, it would give Chych so much leverage, really would want to get Chych extended first but we can't do that until this offseason.

The team he left is in a playoff position and the one he went to is having a dumpster fire of a season. Yeah, his body language is probably not going to be good. His body language is often quite bad. It seems the honeymoon is over.
I promose you it will be an underwhelming return. L than we gave up for him, which wasn’t really that much.If we could get as much for Chabot as Chychrun, sure.
But I suspect Chychrun would have a lot more value given his contract.
Maybe there will be 2 or more teams needing a defender for a deep playoff run?I promose you it will be an underwhelming return. L than we gave up for him, which wasn’t really that much.
The Sens have been one of the most active teams in the league in recent weeks as they examine who will be part of their core for the long haul. Multiple teams have inquired about Chychrun, acquired from Arizona just 10 months ago, and they haven’t been told that Chychrun is unavailable. The truth is, the Senators have a logjam on the left side of their defense. Although Chychrun can play the right side, Thomas Chabot ($8 million) and Jake Sanderson ($8.05 million extension) are also both left-shooting defensemen.
Someone's always injured, how could there be a logjam?I think it's becoming clear that Chychrun is very likely moving before the deadline. Garrioch has floated it a few times, and he's also pretty high up on Seravalli's trade board with the following commentary...
That is certainly a concern.Someone's always injured, how could there be a logjam?
