That would be a Milbury level trade. Trouba is a 3RD who is overpaid, dirty, and not what this team needs. If we're moving Norris to get D help, it has to be someone more surefire and who can actually play defense without resorting to throwing his elbow out.

There's no reason to believe this is a thing. People are taking two separate pieces of information - that the Sens may be shopping Norris and that the Sens have talked to NY about Trouba - and drawing a connection between them that doesn't make sense. It would be an absurd trade, so it's probably not a real thing.

The fact though is he's an 8 mil guy this year and next, even with full retention he's overpaid, so why are we even talking about him getting a 1st rd pick at the deadline (doubtful btw)

Last year, Hannifin at 2.5 mil after retention got a 1st, he's nowhere close to hannifin at this stage in his career.

I saw Bruce Garrioch in person last night. I am not going to lie, I walked past a group that consisted of Methot, Heatley, Spezza, and Garrioch, and the person I was most hyped about seeing in the flesh was Bruce.

I'm not sure what's wrong with me.
