Yeah Joseph is a prime candidate to bounce back and have a solid season. I would want to trade him at his all time low, get little to nothing in return, and then watch him bounce back in his new home.

I think we should give him a shot.

We'd have to pay assets to trade Joseph.

Simply not worth it. Just have to keep him and hope for a rebound.

I've seen Crouse's name thrown around here a few times, but is he available? I would love to acquire him, but last I saw Arizona had no interest in trading any more core players.

Based on a recent trade thread involving Keller, their fans are pretty happy with the haul of picks they have at this point and want to build around the guys they have.

Best case scenario for this team is the HC stuff comes out and Formenton is clear and resigns 2-3x3 and we roll with it. Hes a perfect middle 6er. But all signs point that is heavily involved and done.

Again, best case scenario.

Ideally sign Tatar ($3.5M), and then a speedy 4th liner ($1M) and call it an off-season… no more trading (this assumes a Murray buy-out)

Tkachuk-Stützle-Giroux
Tatar-Norris-Batherson
Kubalik-Pinto-Joseph
Grieg-Kastelic-TBDSigning

Best case sure is Formenton isn't implicated but if that's the case, he's got zero leverage and we've got cap issues. 1*1.5

Wouldn't mind Tyler Motte back on the 4th line instead of Parker Kelly. Currently unsigned still.

Him being the only one to not have an NHL contract doesn't bode well for the HC stuff. I think the writing is on the wall for that.

He's an American who didn't fit in all that well here for whatever reason.

I'd be surprised if he couldn't find a better gig.

Still better than Kelly obviously, as is just about anyone.

It is kind of surprising that Tarasenko is still on the market.

Either he hasn't gotten the type of contract offers he wanted or he is currently waiting for a team to clear cap space to fit him in.

Ridiculous.

How'd we sign MacEwan over him? I would have gladly given him 1.5

I'm going to be nice to Sens management and assume they are saving every last dollar for Tarasenko and Pinto, once Murray's buyout is complete.

But I think I may have overrated MacEwen.

I've never seen fans hate a player so much as Kings and Flyers fans hate him.

He’s apparently a quick fan favorite everywhere he goes. ??
I read the same comments you read.
I liked his 1200 interview and other interviews I’ve seen with him.
Don’t like his fighting ability at all.
But I’m still curious to see how it plays out. Hoping for the best of course.

4th line one dimensional face punchers are often the biggest target and most polarizing. Realistically, if they aren't fighting, every team has a more skilled young player fans are clamoring to be put in instead and they often prevent the 4th line from getting on the ice much, so I don't think much of it.

I don't know about that.

He sounds like Alex Chiasson 2.0, but he'll actually drop the gloves, albeit to get his face pummeled in by pretty much everyone he fights.

Borowiecki bravely lost a lot of fights for the Senators too, as did Austin Watson.

Of course, they could play a regular shift.

It's been a long time since Neil and McGrattan.

I'll give Carkner and Konopka a passing grade.

I think he's waiting for a real contender to make some room so he can take a 1 year deal.
