I’d love kadri if he wasn’t 30+ and the cap space workedmost of those people dont even want kadri here, i sure dont.
But yeah

right and the line sucked ass bc the panarin strome pond hockey didnt work and panarin was scared of the middle of the ice. how is trocheck changing that? how is putting kakko or kratsov changing that?Well firstly, Copp didn't really play a whole lot of center for the rangers. Secondly, I know he was probably hurt but that 2nd line was hot dog shit in the playoffs. He may have some chemistry with Panarin, but it wasnt ground breaking. I wasnt against bringing Copp back, but that ship is completely sailed now, hes gone. Onward and upward.
They have 2 lottery pick dmen prospects man lol
3-5 years lol. That's a range.
im not advocating for signing copp. i am just stating how funny it is that people dont want copp but want trocheck. and copp played wing bc he can and strome cant.I like Copp but Trocheck is a better player. The Rangers also clearly did not see Copp as a center because they barely played him there despite the need. Also if you want to talk about contract years, Copp had his first 50 point season this year (Paarin bump)
What a 0.5 of Drai would cost? Asking for a friend.Edmonton keeps thinking the problem is defense and goaltending when the problem is that they have 1.5 good forwards.
3-5 years lol. That's a range.
I think yours is more realistic. Mine is more hopeful.Im gonna say he gets 6 x 5.5 due to pitt and bos out
Maybe they’d be interested in adding Reaves to be that lines RWHughes and Gaudreau will be nasty…but tiny. Gotta hit em
Hughes and Gaudreau will be nasty…but tiny. Gotta hit em
hang on, so you are going to take something i said, manipulate it, then when i straighten that out you're going to turn around and twist my words again? I am not playing this game with you.So are we pinning the successes/failures of the 2 teams strictly on Strome and Trocheck?
Seems kind of silly.
This is in the back of my mind too. Not saying it’s fact but I just have that feeling from what I’ve read and - to an extent - seen. It’s easy to dismiss that kind of thing in favor of optimism. And bad injuries can happen to anyone. But it’s not bad to minimize risk.Copp is a concussion away from retirement. So is Mika. Can't have your two top centers in that same situation.
he is a better center than the guy he was stuck playing the wing for, but i understand. i see copp much the way i see trocheck as a very good 3c on a contender.I don't see Copp being a Center in an optimal lineup.
can someone explain to me why they have massive issues paying copp who we know fit here basically the same money it would take to get trocheck, but those same people are willing to pay trocheck? Their 5v5 scoring is fairly close if not leans to copp based on a quick look at numbers, they are comparable historically on faceoffs, copp is younger, we know copp played great with panarin already without strome on the line (he and panarin were great together until strome came back). I just dont understand how people can be like screw copp but are in love with trocheck.
