Agree. I don't want to trade Kakko at all, but if he were to get traded, a player like PLD should be it. Agree on the environment thing too. On most teams that have a 2 and 1 overall pick back to back, those players are playing top PP minutes and top line. Here, they've been buried and haven't had any significant PP time at all. That effects development and production in a big way.

I also think the covid years have made it tough...not a lot of time to really prepare for the NHL etc, compared to some other players who at least played a little in the AHL or other leagues rather than trying to jump right in
At any rate, he has flashes and skills, let him put it together

You, like all of us, have not a clue about how their or any team locker room functions or will function, nor how it will affect on-ice performance.

Amazed at the notion that people don't realize just how good Hughes will be. It's probably just the usual oh he's on that team so he sucks.
