I also worry about Chytil breaking after he blocks his first slapshot on the PK.Chytil would be interesting but he needs to make quicker decisions with the puck.
I agree, buddy.Trocheck’s trade protection is manageable. I still think he will age gracefully as a good 3C on an affordable contract as the cap jumps
Chytil > Kakko over their first 3 years.Vince has a new podcast. He discussed Kakko's contract. 2 year bridge. $2M-$2.5M. He brought up Chytil who is at $2.3M as a comparison.
do you trust Gallant to actually play him on the 4th line ? Or is Blais going straight to that 2nd line RW?We're also getting Blais back who is Motte if Motte were a little better at everything.
Now that he said he wants back and lost his leverage.Kinda saw this coming.
They'll get him for pretty decent money too I bet.
Girard is at $5M. They don't really need him with Bowen Bryam coming back from his injury and having a good playoff. Girard has five more seasons left. Won't be easy. Maybe they could move him.Wonder if they attach a first rounder with Johnson to clear the cap, 1 year 6 million left, can be traded to 19 teams.
Those charts also showed Nemeth was a good player. Some people use them as gospel though. This is the thing that drives me nuts about charts. Is Hunt as good a skater as Motte? Can he PK like Motte? Is he a short handed threat like Motte?
No. No. And No.
That being said, unless Reaves or someone else gets shipped out there’s little danger that we need to worry about Motte being a NYR.

Blais is probably slotted into our top 9 regardless. Either him or Goodrow.do you trust Gallant to actually play him on the 4th line ? Or is Blais going straight to that 2nd line RW?
Going to alienate Kravtsov right off the bat instead of trying to recoup value off the asset that should have never tanked in the beginning
f***ing libor f***ing hajek
100%Mega Hypothetical...
If Panarin has another season like this past one.... he'll be asked to waive his NMC
I'm really worried about Laf getting on PP1 and now. I can see whats going to happen before it happens.
Trocheck PP1; Laf and Kakko can't crack PP1 3 and 4 years in respectively, goodbye young talent
Blais going to get the second line RW over Kakko and Kravtsov
Kravtsov goes on 4th line
Also playing Cuylle and 50 goal scorer Othmann on the 4th line is peak Rongos and would be repeating past mistakes - COUGH Howden COUGH LIAS ..... Keep them as far away from this team as possible until there are legit spots for them.
The taste Gallant left in my mouth was bad by the end of last year, outcoached in every series and questionable personnel decisions. Dont forget, he still refused to give a reasonable answer for the whole Strome Kakko fiasco.
This is my nightmare.
Yes they were teammates briefly, but Carpenter was horrible in Vegas. Hate to be that guy, but I watched him play game in/game out long enough to know he doesn't add much of anything to the lineup. He is literally the McKegg replacement...hopefully he doesn't see much time here.Carpenter played on Vegas the same time as Reaves. Maybe he was 3rd line. But you’re right it was Nosek now that I think of it
He has limited options. The worst he could do is put Goodrow and Blais both in the top 9. Which would absolutely be a Gallant thing to do.the only issue I have with having this many players... is that Gallant will go the vet route or choose the players he 'knows' better... compared to actually playing the 'best talent'.
