Sure, if it was 5 years ago.I think Carolina did fairly well today. Surprised they aren’t being talked about more.

Ah okay. Thought it was that and no winning back to back but I could be wrong"Teams cannot win the lottery more than twice in a five-year period. Wins in the lottery prior to 2022 will not be counted toward this total."
is what i remember and found
He's also getting floated bullshit from teams/agents for their own purposes as well. This is so true. He is a real insider with sources, but you never know which reports are true or not, when he's so obviously is making shit up for clikcs 90% of the time.
Honestly if I was Kadri; if he needs a long term deal; I’d be looking at Detroit. Not like they signed any centers today either. Yzerman has them set up well and they can actually afford him.And now no Palat either. The only team in the division that stood pat. Kadri is running out of options. Just hope he goes to Calgary.
No farm, old players, and no free agent wants to go there. Going to be a rebuild soon
I mean, if Motte wants to take Vet minimum to come back, sign me up. They need to figure out Kakko next though. Staying or going.Staple says motte is hoping for a chance to come back. Take less and maybe you can. Still think the longer Kakko stays unsigned it doesn’t bode well for his future.
Also alludes to the Rangers planning on holding cap space to take a run at Kane at the deadline. No brainer to make that move if it’s there. Exciting times ahead for this team
Devils signed Palat, he’ll be good for them. Idk if he’s really a needle mover though but he would be a good fit riding shotgun with Hughes. He’s 31 though with a lot of miles on him, could see him breaking down physically.LOL @ Islanders and Devils both left with they dicks in their hands
True. Maybe I was a bit too harsh on saying he makes it all up. But we don't see other insiders posting very specific "rumors" all through the season. Maybe don't call facts on about every little thing you hear, Frank. That's why the Eklund comparison is so spot on.He's also getting floated bullshit from teams/agents for their own purposes as well.
I thought that was for first overallNew rules state you can’t win lottery two years in a row
LOL I know some of my opinions are not popular. That's OK. We don't all always have to agree. And it's not targetted at anyone here. Its not like we made the moves. I have to vent my frustration somehwere.Genesispuck really abusing that rookie of the year boardie award.
I really don't get the vitriol for Strome.Enlighten us, what is it you achieved in life f***face? Calling a NHL player a loser, a guy that gave his all for our team. You know dude go f*** yourself with posts like this. You are not a fan, just some ignorant f***ing sheep that follows the rest of the herd. I cheer for every player that plays for the Rangers and respect them for that. And when they leave there will always be respect for them.
With him and Gudbranson on board they have some interesting parts. They're definitely a team to watch out for.flyer's offseason plan was to sign ADA??! LOL.
I heard from someone local in PA that's involved with youth hockey, and he was almost certain
that Gaudreau was signing in philly.. I wan't nothing more than for NJ, NYI, and PHI to fail miserably every season... but why would Gaudreau go to CLB of all places, especially for less $?
Motte is a victim of poor timing. The cap crunch has saturated the market with unqualified young players with more upside. His best bet at this point is probably signing a 2-year deal on the cheap to get out from under the flat cap, and then trying to get his big deal. That's probably a pill he's not ready to swallow quite yet, though.Motte can accept less to come back. What’s up with Rodrigues? He is a useful player. He made $1M last season. It’s a tight and tough market. Motte wants to get paid. How many teams are paying a 4th line player $2M or more?
The Rangers 6th and 7th D. Will they go with some combination of Jones, Robertson, Lundkvist and Hajek? You would think they would be interested in a vet in that mix. Someone who is cheap. 1 year contract. $1M.
The Rangers are paying Goodrow 3+ million. He should be our 4th line center.Motte can accept less to come back. What’s up with Rodrigues? He is a useful player. He made $1M last season. It’s a tight and tough market. Motte wants to get paid. How many teams are paying a 4th line player $2M or more?

I bet tortz had them make defense the prioritySeems like Gaudreau had his heart set on Philly and when they dropped the ball on clearing space he decided he’d rather go to Columbus who isn’t a direct rival
Hilarious that both the Devils and Isles got spited on this
Or Goodrow could play on a wing which means Chytil could still be a centre... and Mika-VT-Chytil doesn't seem like the worst spine in the world, especially when you add Goodrow as a bit of coverThe Rangers are paying Goodrow 3+ million. He should be our 4th line center.
If he's not, who is? And that means Goodrow is taking minutes away from someone else on the 3rd line. That means Chytil is not a center.
Our center depth is still atrocious.
Is it good enough to beat Tampa, Colorado, Edmonton, Florida? I'm not so sure. It's like moneyball centers. Not one, except for Zibanejad, stack up against other top teams' centers. They're still going to play match up against Zibanejad. And we saw what happened when they do that, our offense gets completely shut down. I don't think Trocheck beats that situation for us. If we had PLD then teams are trying to shut down two 70+ point centers with size.Or Goodrow could play on a wing which means Chytil could still be a centre... and Mika-VT-Chytil doesn't seem like the worst spine in the world, especially when you add Goodrow as a bit of cover
