I like Dvorak as a player but the sample size is small. I think he has 30 goals in like 160 plus games. Definitely need something else coming back hopefully

Yeah, I think Panarin signing moves them to looking at moving Kreider with little or no cap coming back.

Where do you see that? Both should be entering the final year of their ELC. They shouldn't have been RFA...

I also don't think this is an immediate need either. Unless you can get someone worth while, I'd rather see if Chytil/Lias/Howden takes a step forward and runs away with it.

Yeah, it's ok if it's a weakness this season. We're still not expecting to knock the league over, yet. You have Strome as a safety valve if Chytil/Howden don't grab it.

Agreed. They kind of have to now. I don't think we'll see those moves today. Teams will miss out on their targets and then look at other options available through trades.

We actually should. EVERYONE should stop signing TOP free agents since it doesn't produce results. I went back 20 years so far and didn't see ONE Cup winner with a free agent as their top paid/producing player.

But Free Agents of Panarin's caliber entering their prime are a rarity too... He might be the best free agent forward available in the last 5 years while also going into his prime.

Isles re-signing Lee bodes well for us on the Kreider trade market. If anything, it probably incentivizes Bergevin to go after him since CAR will more likely than not match the Aho offer sheet.
