The Oil just got that much harder to play against this postseason.
Maybe get a real asset in the new post-Hughed-injury cap space
I think player can approve.Am I crazy or isn’t there a rule against trading players who are on IR?
and Shane Lachance's rights to Jersey for retaining salaryWanner a 2nd and a 4th I think
so nothing like corey perry at allHe has been useless this season outside of a week or two here or there. But he hits and fights and scores occasionally. Little like a young Corey Perry without any of the talent.

It looks like the Devils are taking a small swing at an interesting 6'5"/218 depth prospect in exchange for taking on some of Frederic's cap hit.
He has potential, has shown good progress over the years.Any info on Max Wanner? Any NHL potential or just AHL depth?
He tries to get in other players heads but usually just gets in his own, he also is completely useless if you're playing Florida because he has some weird childhood beef with Matthew Tkachuk and just chases him around all night. But he has the tools to be Sam Bennett lite in terms of play style imo so maybe he can get back on track.so nothing like corey perry at all
He’s not a bad prospect. Has NHL potential could be a bottom pair guy if all goes well.Any info on Max Wanner? Any NHL potential or just AHL depth?
If they don't somebody else will.
If they feel they don't need the cap space they might as well take the asset.
