They will for Kreider.

Any time you have an asset with multiple bidders, the return will be solid.

I said if your willing to go to 10.5-11 on a guy. You don’t lose him over 1-1.5 mil if the market dictates his price is that much higher.

Obviously 1-1.5 million is 1-1.5 mil to work with, so it’s not nothing. But if you’re going to 11 something for a guy, you don’t let a couple hundred grand or a million stop you.

I’m not in the sign Panarin camp so I think that contract is foolish.

Rangers shouldn't be trading their 1st round picks anymore, unless an opportunity arises like Trouba again, because that was an absolute steal.

If Gorton is the "capologist" the Rangers are dumb. I know he's a business guy but he has too much on his plate to handle that type of analysis, especially since during a time like this you likely need to have a TON of models prepared to respond to the fluid nature of free agency.

I would love to work as a capologist, sounds super interesting. I wonder if it's considered a finance role or a comp and Ben type role.
