Report: Charlie McAvoy admitted to hospital as Team USA hockey deals with wave of injuries

According to the Boston Globe, Charlie McAvoy was admitted to Mass. General Hospital due to injury from play in the 4 Nations Face-Off.

The Bruins are expected to issue an update on Charlie McAvoy this morning. The Team USA star D is still having tests run on him.

Well that sucks for Mac, the Bruins and the fans.

If he's going to be out for an extended period then the Bruins need to be sellers at the deadline. They go nowhere without their #1D.

He got a delay of game penalty last night. He shot the puck over the glass from across the ice. It was pretty impressive.

Wonder if Cassidy tells Cooper to play Jarvis over Marchand?

I have feeling that Cooper isn't a big Marchand fan. He probably hasn't forgiving him the for the licking incident.

I’ll let you know after 25-26 but cap going way up and at worst he will be Coyle and his money % will be Coyle’s

He’s not played to 7.75 but it’s 55 games, big change and a mesh cast on his left hand

Second year is the year I notice most players on new teams have best season

I think money aside he was counted on to be more involded in the ozone. His skating is what im most concerned about, he's behind plays alot

Agree - but I think he opens up more next season

Zacha has morphed into this as well but that’s how they play here

If you have Eichel or Mathews who drive a line you let that happen and maybe have a responsible winger with them

Pastrnak & Marchand drive their lines

I’ve seen a lot I like about Lindholm game but he needs to be a 55-65 not 45 points guy

I’ll have a good sample after next season but he’s not a Kevin Stevens Omg he’s not good after 55 games

I think he’s been good in a lot and there are two players I scout all the time - Geekie & Lindholm

I would say it's worse. Steven's played 6 more seasons in the NHL after getting traded out of Boston. Zero chance Elias Lindholm lasts in the NHL six more seasons until the end of his contract. He looks cooked some nights now, what is he going to look like a half-decade from now? Garbage signing just like I predicted.

Haha yes. Another brilliant latter day Sinden signing.

After that faceplant, Stevens was never the same. They had to reconstruct his face. I won't go into the details as I am squeamish.

Remember O'Connell saying that he and Harry were watching a game and Stevens flinched and turned away from a check.
