Cant fault the guy for trying to continue his career and get paid.May as well have called it quits over the summer. Could've saved us a roster spot in pre-season and training camp.

Difficult to say if he actually tried or not, based on what I saw.Cant fault the guy for trying to continue his career and get paid.
Well, Kassian’s training camp failure allowed the Johnston waiver claim. So, maybe it worked out for the best.May as well have called it quits over the summer. Could've saved us a roster spot in pre-season and training camp.
Certainly not a bad backup plan. He's fit in nicely on that 4th line so far.Well, Kassian’s training camp failure allowed the Johnston waiver claim. So, maybe it worked out for the best.
have you seen any recordings of it? i am gonna look myself but thought i'd askRandy was on the NHL Morning Skate this morning talking about the Ducks. I guess he’s been a pretty big Ducks fan, was praising McTavish.
On the Sirius XM app you can go through the shows and they record the segments. Not sure if they post them anywherehave you seen any recordings of it? i am gonna look myself but thought i'd ask
Not surprising. He did more to contribute to the awfulness of last year's team than most outsiders realize.Watched the Kings-Leafs game tonight, and you can put the theory that he would run it back to his Dallas form getting away from the byproduct of a terrible Ducks team to bed. Dude is cooked and disinterested defensively, he’ll rue not signing that Stars extension til the end of time
What happened to Henry Thrun? Is he injured? Got to believe he's not happy playing for the Sharks though in hindsight, he probably doesn't have spot on this ducks team.
Is he that bad or are they just keeping him away from the dumpster fire?Sent to the Sharks AHL affiliate after 2 games. Which is hilarious when you consider they’re using Kyle Burroughs, who was a fringe defenseman on last season’s Canucks, as their all situations 1D

7 points in 10 games. He picked up a roughing call against the goalie tonight. Legend.FYI Perry is 11 points away from 900.
That guy is an enigma. He can clearly score. Even if he doesn't put up bulk points, his per-minute stats are always incredible. And he's been cheap to this point. So why do no teams seem to want to keep him? Pitt, Anaheim, Washington, and Seattle have all sent him packing and he's only 26. Is it just that he's so bad at defense that no coach can stand to keep him around? Is he a toxic personality? Does he smell really bad? What's the deal?I'd just like to point out that Daniel Sprong is currently at three goals and five assists through 12 games with Detroit after posting 21+25 in 66 games for Seattle last season.
While he is a fairly one-dimensional player still, I think it's safe to say that he was misused by the Ducks during his (albeit short) tenure here. For 2M per season, he certainly provides enough offense to justify his defensive shortcomings, especially when put on the PP.
weren't most of his pts with seattle last season on the PP? and aside from that, he really can't do much else. no question his attitude is likely the reason he's been kicked to the curb so many times alreadyThat guy is an enigma. No, he actually does a lot of damage at even strength. He had 32 even strength points vs 14 power play points. For his career, 101 even strength points vs 23 power play points. He can score plenty at even strength.weren't most of his pts with seattle last season on the PP? and aside from that, he really can't do much else. no question his attitude is likely the reason he's been kicked to the curb so many times already
pens rushed him for some reason too

I would not be surprised. When someone has the season he just had and still has to sign for just $2 million somewhere else, there's something fishy. He's a piece of shit, allegedly...
