hagelin has always worn his visor so high that it's basically like he's wearing nothing at all. i wonder if his injury could've been avoided if he actually wore it properly

Montour with a assist on that Panthers goal

Perry 3rd playoff goal with the Lightning

Perry with his 2nd point of the game from the assist

Manson with the OT winner against Blues. Man I still have such a man-crush for him. Seeing that and his and the teams celebration after that sent chills down my spine. I'm inclined to say I hope the Avs go all the way.

That is also his 1st ever playoff goal which came in his 27th career playoff game played.

You missed the point. He didn't score more because he was always injured, playing hurt. So you saying that his 30 goal season came out of nowhere was wrong. He was in fact expected to do this much earlier, just couldn't do it or repeat because his body let him down. Might be something for a different thread though.

I'll bring the discussion to this thread.

I always thought Eaves had more to give and was underrated. It was satisfying to see him really hit his stride in that career year and I honestly thought it could be somewhat sustainable if he was on Getz's wing.

That being said, Murray did somewhat overpay to acquire Eaves. He bought at a top 6 forward price and to @Paul4587's point, Eaves wasn't really that for the majority of his career.

It's a shame what happened to him. Both for his sake and the team's.

Manson a -4 with less then 15 min played in today's game against the Oilers when his teams scores 8 goals ouch.

1 goal 4 assists 5 points -3 in 11 playoff games so far with Avalanche. In those 11 games he has more goals, assists and points then he had 22 playoff games with the Ducks.

I only watched the first period but he was pretty abysmal. Both Oiler goals in the first were on bad reads/misplays from him. Sucks to see, I was really hoping that a stronger defense core around him would stabilize his ups and downs.
