Waller questionable with a hammy......GAH WE CANNOT HAVE NICE THINGS!
That was part of the deal of acceptance. He's going to play 9-11 games this year and have hamstring/shoulder/elbow problems throughout (Filip Chytil injury generator machine).

Bellinger can hold his own luckily as long as no one tries to gouge his eye out.

The best case scenario for Waller is that he's healthy for the stretch run if the Giants are in contention. Getting used to not playing with him and then having him back for the postseason could potentially give the Giants mismatches and a long run.

The big difference with Belly is speed. Waller has a legit edge in speed and rouye running. Belly is a good blocker with good pass catching hands.

No one is.

That’s like you wouldn’t give up Fox for A middle 6 winger. It wouldn’t ever be on the table. You’re talking about draft stock.

Well, Ward hit AR. It’s a non issue if hard knocks isn’t around.

Would your opinion be the same if it were Daniel Jones and Tanzel Smart? You’d probably be calling it a cheap shot by a middling player. You can’t criticize Cobb then defend Ward.
I don't think Wards barely a shove is in anyway comparable to a blind side illegal hit that caused a concussion. Neither did the league office.

One was between whistles. One was after a whistle. My view though is it probably happens often. Players just aren’t mic’ed up all the time. I just think criticizing Cobb and defending Ward is hypocritical (not saying you are a hypocrite - just that the statement is.) One was a bang bang play in someone’s first season play. You could see he regretted after thinking he might get fined - and taking a penalty - which he did. It’s also a play that was legal earlier in his career. Ward intentionally hit someone after a whistle. Then you want to bash Rodgers for being “mean?”

Just to be clear, I’m not defending Cobb. Both guys were wrong. I will defend Rodgers though. I’m not going to criticize him for trash talking a guy who hit him after a whistle. I’m not going into the whole “disrespected” nonsense. These are adult NFL players.

NFL players are notorious trash talkers. DB’s talk all game. Tom Brady was a notorious trash talker. Are we really picking guys apart like that now?

I'm calling BS. I grew up with many "royal blue" fans aka Mets/Giants/Rangers/Knicks.

Giants have been around since the 1920s so 35 years before the Titans/Jets came into existence. A lot of Dodgers and NY Baseball Giants fans rooted for them.

There is some geographical truth to the JIMs (Jets/Islanders/Mets if you're not in with the term) however there is equally as much truth to a generation who became fans when Daryl/Doc/LT were larger than life athlete-celebrities in NY.
I see it as Mets/Jets/Islanders then you have Rangers/Giants/Yankees. Of course that’s not set in stone and everyone is unique. We all had different experiences growing up. I do get a chuckle that you’re referencing the 1920’s. Really? I also never heard of “Royal blue fans.” Not that anyone doesn’t have those allegiances.

Anyways, hope to see both teams in the playoffs this year.

Both were wrong in a general sense but the league only fined 1 of them.

Rodgers was the guy that brought up "respect". I get you like Rodgers and he is your guy. I do not have a problem with that. I just do not share the same feelings of him.

Yea, no worries. I do think it’s disrespectful to hit a guy after the whistle. Especially a star player pushing 40. Tom Brady probably would’ve gone down like a gunshot victim and drawn a flag. As far as the leagues opinion, I don’t really care. It sucks that someone got concussed, but at the end of the day I think we are making too much of both incidents. I think these types of things happen every week. Rodgers being pissed might not be a bad thing for NYJ. I also think you’ll see him playing the bad guy at times this year. NYG fans will go crazy when he smirks and says “Jet Life Stadium,” but that makes sports fun. The team has been irrelevant for a decade, so I think Jet fans will appreciate some bravado like Rex initially brought. Rodgers will bring some swagger. It’s part of the reason I wanted the Jets to go after Mayfield or Manziel, so it’s a good I’m not NYJ GM! Daniel Jones brings that calm, cool, collected Eli vibe.

They should both be competitive teams so it’ll be a welcome change after a disappointing NHL exit and MLB season. I think they both have a shot to go on runs. My biggest concerns would be how quick the Jets WR’s pick up Rodgers, and if the Giants did enough to give Jones weapons.

New York

This talks about how we may see some more blitzing by BUF on defense (especially on 3rd downs) with McDermott as defensive play caller.

Also talks about the impact Kincaid may have.
Blitzing Zach we obviously smart. We’ll see how blitzing Rodgers will go since he has approximately a 10000000% better chance of reading it than Zach.

Back in NY in the 80s is when the jerseys of all the Mets/Giants/Rangers/Islanders/Sabres/Knicks and at times Nets were more royal blue. Only the Yankees and Jets (and Devils if you want to throw them in) differed.

He's still developing. He's more than an adequate starter on a lot of squads.

I curse the 8:20 start

If NY wanted to end the state deficit let all Giants fans pay $5 for a dunk booth opportunity of the person or team who made the Giants schedule this year.

I have trashed Numba Wun Mike Francesa before however to be fair, he has some wisdom like when he said "Giants fans prefer Sunday 1 PM. That's it."

Sunday Night, Sunday late afternoon, Thursday Night, Monday night...all before the first Sunday 1 PM game in Week 5 vs. the Dolphins.

Really?

One was a blatantly illegal headshot that has been taken out of the game for years, now. One that Cobb knows full well was dirty as absolute f***. Further, he's a f***ing starter laying out a back-up in pre-season. Not only was it cheap and dirty, but he's a f***ing bitch for doing that to a back-up player in pre-season. Oh yeah, and the hit ended up (not surprisingly) causing a concussion.

The other was a light shove.

We're seriously comparing these things? Really?

I rolled my eyes at the Rogers/Ward stuff but I've yet to see a Jets fan playing this game where they try and whatabout the f***ing Cobb hit. Jesus.
