For a bit, but I don't think the number of reps or the gravity behind them were appropriate.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a criticism of the Jets. I'm not going to be sour grapes over a preseason results. All I'm saying is, they looked very prepared for that game and came out with a high level of intensity. It was the right thing to do.

I never felt we had a true dress rehearsal like that. I know you don't want guys to get hurt but that display last night was clear lack of preparation.
And if any of the jets starters got hurt in that, they’d have been ripped to shreds.
The pre-season is always a gamble.

Not a giants fan and I was gonna say just burn the tapes and move on, they’ll be fine. But man their schedule is rough. Not a lot of room for error.

Same with the Jets really. Can’t afford to play yourself into form.

I'm not even going to spend time on that loss. The team looked shellshocked after the early 2 Dallas scores and errors. Never recovered and the loss just snowballed from there.

I'll put weight on this loss if they have an awful showing next week.

There's a good chance this team is 1-6 by Halloween. If they lose to Washington in Week 7 and they're not somehow .500 or better, I think I punt the season, get what I can at the deadline to clear some salary, and focus on next year.

This year's schedule is absolutely brutal.

Betting my life savings against the Jets tonight.

Lots of hype
New QB
First Monday night game of the year
9/11 anniversary at home

There’s absolutely zero chance they don’t embarrass themselves.

I have a hockey game tonight. I kept going back and forth about “calling in sick” but in the end, I decided that the Jets are either going to win or ruin my night, so best just to play hockey and catch the highlights after.

Tell me the Jets went back to this classic kit and this is not a one game throwback

Looked like his left leg got caught in the turf or something as he was being sacked
