That’s an unacceptably soft call to decide the Super Bowl on. You can’t throw that flag inside 2 minutes of a tie game. I wanted KC, but I hate seeing any championship decided this way. Give the ref the MVP.
Make up call from the catch and fumble that was ruled incomplete. Right team won the game at the end of the day.

Play 1: Guy catches ball in his abdomen, full control, two feet on the ground, then he drops it when he is hit: not a catch

Play 2: Guy bobbles the ball the whole time, never gets feet planted, knocked out of bounds: its a catch.

what a dumb sport. also, f*** the entire city of Philadelphia

Those two calls were incredibly obvious and I doubt many people are disputing that the final call was correct.

The bigger issue is that the Eagles called an absolute stupid timeout in the 2nd half to avoid a delay of game penalty when it was already 3rd and 11.

Yeah, just very strange argument to say the referees screwed Philly over.

When people say the call is bullshit, what they really mean is they wanted to see as climactic of an ending as possible. It was 100% a holding, and a fairly egregious one because Juju was going to be wide open for an easy catch if not held. The right call just led to an anti-climactic ending.

It was a clear hold, people just don’t want to end the game like that.

It was a great game, Hurts should have probably gotten mvp even as a loser.

I had no leg in the race because football sucks, but if KC didn’t miss that field goal in the first quarter, I would have won $1k in my Super Bowl box pool. After that miss I just wanted them to lose.

That was a hold though, but KC got f***ed on that fumble. He caught the ball and made a football play by moving after.

A glorious night from a Dallas fan perspective Toney shoved it up Dabolls and Schoens ass and Philly, lost in dramatic fashion.
Satisfying

By far one of the worst calls in NFL history, given the scope of the game and the time, and that's not an exaggeration. Even IF it was holding, you're allowed contact within 5 yards, which it was.

Refs completely ruined a great and amazing SB game, sad.

Nah, it was close, but that was an incomplete pass.

You can tell how little sports fans follow teams outside of their own based on the reaction to Toney. “How could The Giants have traded him?” Dude didn’t want to be here and essentially forced his way out.

Also I’m so happy the Eagles lost. Sirianni is such a jerk.

Wrong. Giants traded Toney to help beat Philly. Eagles fans bragging all year about taking Bradberry from us. Then he has the big penalty at the end. Glorious day for us. Dallas and Philly in a much worse cap spot than we are in. Their windows are closing. Ours is just opening. But good try. Enjoy another year of being irrelevant. 90's were great though.

You’re not in better space after you pay Barkley a terrible second contract .
And a limited Dan Jones 40 million a year / enjoy .
Philly window isn’t going anywhere - they have another top pick and the best GM in the NFC.
The Giants have lost 12 straight to Dak - let us know when you’re in a game v them.

Toney stuck it up Dabolls ass “
Who just couldn’t find out how to use him - despite being stuck w Golliday”

A good night indeed

Call me unamerican or an affront to God or whatever the f***.

The Superbowl should be on Saturday.

When and why did we decide that a pseudo national holiday will be late on the worst night of the week right before the worst morning of the week? Why are we sticking with it when it's clearly balls?

Wrestlemania is another f***ing one. It should be one night, first of all, and that night should be f***ing SATURDAY.

And another thing! Having the owner come out and accept the trophy is like avoiding a car accident, and giving a trophy to the obstruction you swerved around to begin with.

Most owners are active saboteurs in the athletic department and every single one of them will lose to improve the bottom line when presented with that choice, except maybe the guy on the Mets.
