I get it but watching him is driving me nuts. He skates in circles but is not getting nearly the chances or creating nearly the plays he was earlier. Happening at the same time Tatar stopped scoring. That's also now 6-7 games without an assist for Hischier.

Yegor hasn't scored since the Ranger game two and a half weeks ago. He looks so much better on a line with Jack so that's promising.

Does it even make sense to have a d-man of his style playing on the bottom pairing? A guy whose ratio of brains dead plays that lead directly to goal against vs. nice pass that leads to goal for is basically 1:1 at best…

People gloss over things like what happened tonight because they think his value is a net positive, but you have to factor in situational value. Yeah he helps us occasionally when we are coasting to 5-1 victories…but in a tight 1-1 game he cannot be trusted to not single handedly cost the team the win. Perhaps that doesn’t matter when the team is so awful those losses don’t make any difference. But it sure as shit is a big deal now.

glad they played well, sucks they couldn’t win. no way i can read all of this nonsense but my level of concern is still moderate.

at some point they have to win and turn this around, but the schedule ahead is a real back breaker. tonight was the night to end the streak and i’m worried that it’s going to snowball (moreso). they can easily lose 3 or 4 out of the next 5 games even if they play well
