We made croutons from homemade focaccia yesterday. Top notchCroutons are delicious.
Damn. I took to long to take a pick. You’ve turned on me.They are better than rolls for sure.
Those pairings have been concrete since roughly the 10th game of the season.
Couturier has played less than 22 minutes in 9 of the last 14 games played. Read your own stat sheet that you just posted.
Ristolainen is performing significantly better this season
48.7 CF vs 43.7
-0.4 rel vs -7.4
His PDO is actually down 1.5% this year compared to last year
Fenwick is up almost 8%
Hasn't been scored against on the PK
So its a pretty valid question, what are you watching this year?
Are you sure you know what a strawman argument is? Here, I will help
"Is me wanting the team to become good too negative for you? That's inherently optimistic"
I'm sorry you don't like being called out and having your feelings hurt. But, you are posting factually incorrect information and I don't care, or something along those lines.
Embarrassing. Flat out embarrassing. No you're right. You're completely right. The Flyers are good. Really good. Excellently managed. Nothing is wrong. The future is incredible. I was wrong to ever doubt them. or point out any perceived flaws with the roster. Everyone I thought was bad is good. All the players that should have been traded a year ago should not be. We should keep them until they retire. We are going to win the Cup this year and next year. They're going to rename it The Philadelphia Entitlement.

Well, you called it bud. It's pretty common. There's a huge circlejerk on this board that includes multiple mods. All they do is complain all the time and use strawman arguments at people who try to argue otherwise. This board has become a pain to read.

People complain because the team hasn’t done anything yet to indicate they have learned from past mistakes and are going to build a real contenderIt's pretty common. Since you keep editing your posts. I'll just pick the latest one.No you're right. You're completely right. The Flyers are good. Really good. Lineup shifts haven't happened, Walker certainly hasn't played something like 100 minutes in 30ish games on different pairings. Excellently managed team. Nothing is wrong. The future is incredible. I was wrong to ever doubt them. or point out any perceived flaws with the roster. Everyone I thought was bad is good. All the players that should have been traded a year ago should not be. I literally stated
"Since around game 10"
100 minutes is roughly 5 games worth of ice time for a second pairing defenseman. They will also be separated on the PK when they have a D in the box.
It's not that hard dude.
Are you ok?Excellent. So because they've played well together that means it is right and good that Seeler wasn't traded last year at the deadline. I agree. That is right and good. It's the best thing they could have done. They should keep both this year, too. They can be coaches someday.
Always has been.Has Mintyukov passed Gauthier?
Now, now DP. They said they wanted to build a big D like Vegas. They've already compromised for a 5'11 defenseman. Not that you need to be told this obviously, but it just shows to go ya what this org thinks of RD lol. They really think that's the most valuable position on any cup winning team
Are you ok?
Who made the shitty situation? Can't blame Briere for any of this, he was handed a shitty situation and has worked hard to fix it.
Provorov trade is looking like a stroke of genius, 1st, (2) 2nds, Grans and whatever we get for Walker.
Poehling was a good signing, good 4C, can play PK, could be trade bait or extended to fill 4C until some kids are ready (he's only 25).
Dumping Hayes, TDA, given how they've played (so much for the fantasy that we'd get more value holding on to them and their $12M cap hit).
Making the best of the Gauthier situation, no panic, considered lots of options, got the best deal they could get.
A great draft.
Mistakes were made, should have moved Laughton (though I'll never buy the 1st and 2nd for Laughton rumor, had to be a big salary dump included), Hathaway was an overpay, we'll see if he's moveable (but had to play someone and Allison hasn't done squat in LHV).
Some things take time. Atkinson you hoped would continue scoring and be moveable, now a summer buyout is probably in his future, same with Pederson. Pay $3.5M for two years to dump $10.25M next season to use as trade bait. Risto is now an above average defensive D-man, but might need another year to make his contract moveable.
Can someone do the math here of if the Flyers traded JVR last year if they would have been able to stay under the cap? Please, please make that be the case. I need this.
Cool, it's OK to wrong.Never been better. You have convinced me that I was wrong to ever criticize keeping Seeler and not dealing him last year, because Walker and Seeler have been solid this year. Those two things obviously cancel out and because everything is positive the rebuild will sort itself out by magic. I'll never be negative again and you'll be happy and never complain again.
Maybe his growth plates are still open? What 2024 draft pick would you place on Drysdale (value wise)?
Always has been.

Holy hell actually arguing the merits of Garnet Hathaway. Some fans get the team they deserveF***ing Garnet
Who made the shitty situation?
